I have tried using debian desktop, but some application can't be opened and just show dialog "input/output error". I use image from www.orangepi.org/downloadresources/ Have you faound this problem? or may I know what's image file that you used on this video. Thanks dude..
Aznan Firmansyah try updating the of distribution or make sure all needed library needed for the apps to run are installed. I didn't had too much time to play with all of the images. Also recommend joining orange pi forum and Facebook group, there are also images there. Try Armbian website, there are images there for the orange pi boards that should be very stable and good.
That's because the eMMC Chip is located on the back of the board and Micro Sd slot. The space between the cover and the board is maybe 2 mm . What you can do is just remove it , or you can also drill few holes to get the heat out. you can use a Soldering iron and make few holes, or with heated tip of a screwdriver. Its should help. another best solution is to buy few Spacer Hex bolts to give is some space and on top of them close the cover.
William Hart the expansion board gives you extra interface: x2 USB, IR recover, (analog) AV instead of connecting with wires to the header pins. The expansion board would work with all zero boards H2+ , H3 including this one with H5. its compatible
Blade Cutting Studio you need extra space inside the case for heatsink and also the second expansion addon card that gives you additional USB ports and a HDMI port, microphone interface. If you are not planning on buying the add-on board and only use the main board than the case can be allot smaller in hight. :)
Blade Cutting Studio if you have an idea how to make a flat version without designing a new board welcome to tell me :). If you really need the extra port u better pick a different board model..its that simple.
How is the WiFi performance? I have a orange pi zero and the WiFi it’s a major problem (because the drivers). I don’t know if this version fixes the problem
Android Pimp - Best Buy Reviews Authority I use the last Armbian. On the official website you can read: Onboard wireless module (XR819) has poor software support so wireless connection issues are expected I will check if the zero plus2 uses a different module
Samuel Carreira yes. I know all about the common problems. You should be able to find 1-2 images that will work fine. Just need to search and test each.
Grant Russell I didn't check the pi zero so I can't give u a real answer. Specifications on this board are better vs. the pi zero. Plus, you have BT, better CPU
512MB RAM on 64bit environment is really low, even for SBC. 1GB is bare minimum for desktop performance and 2GB (OPi Prime) is just the sweetspot. For headless 512MB is ok. Shame none of H5/A64 has decent support (yet) in Linux mainline kernels. Mostly Mali 2D/3D driver and perhaps Cedar VPU. H2+/H3 has much better support but is significantly slower (especially IGP).
Przemysław Stalmach true. But for low level projects 512 should be ok. You can't use it as a type of Mini PC running Android. For that you have other models
Hello. I have the h5 plus 2 board, and I can not get a video signal using any of the available packages. I am burning the images fine and am getting power LED's but no hdmi signal. I have no idea how to boot into a desktop environment, any help?
Thanks man I will give it a try! If I used the official site images and burn correctly AND use correct power supply. Plug in hdmi then power it should boot to desktop enviroment? I also have the same usb header, should that also work plug and play?
Can it play SuperTuxKart?
the raspberry pi 4 can i tested it and works very well, you can use usb or bluetooth gamepad.
i would like to know also if this board can do it.

UA-cam video 480p, 720p?
Hi! Can I share this video on our social media account?
Sure. No problem
@@androidpimp7112 thanks a lot!
I think the bottom is too hot. Customer will complain and return it. Why the Raspberry Pi don't have this problem?

So cool Tzahi . From Korn .
CAn u make full review install armbian? test the board ?
wooow I really like the debian performance.
nice little orange pi 0 will that version mount the O pi 0 NAS expansion board?

may i ask you ...
what makes that orange pi load the web so slow? is it your internet connection or the hardware capabilities ?
The SD card.
@@afdasdfadga Can that be fixed with a faster sd card?
omg the 13 pin extender board makes the board so much taller dammit, cant there be a flatter option?

The orange pi zero 2+ used the AP6212 WiFi module.
Samuel Carreira there are few versions of this board
So... Is it "Better then Raspberry Pi Zero"?

Price. Remember the price. This is a very inexpensive computer.
If you want computer, buy the computer. This is for simple applications like for movement sensor, camera etc.

3D Kiwi format SD card properly, use winimage tool. Also check power supply unit for proper current!! 5V 2A

3D Kiwi If u also bought the expension card with the HDMI port it makes life easier. Better check your power supply.
