Inergy should do something for they're existing customers ive been waiting forever to upgrade im soon switching brands the charging is slow period i run an off grid cabin 15 x25 ft all led lighting no more mini fridge because 2 batteries only power that for a day. Bought the rapid wall charger that blows for the cost also
Ordered a Flex 1500 in 2021. It took about 18 months or so for us to even get the generator. Then they promised they would send an additional item to make up for the delay (a crock pot). We never received it. Then we bought extra batteries. We've used the generator (inside the house) a handful of times. It is now dead about 2.5 or so years later. Of course, it's out of warranty! Garbage! They have terrible reviews on the BBB site, BTW.
Great question, I honestly don't know. You just gave me an idea though, I have a portable dolly that would work incredible for this. 1-2 batteries are very manageable to carry by hand. 3 batteries starts becoming a workout!
I came close to pulling the trigger on the original Flex 1500, but saw reviews saying the same thing about the latches. These do look like a nice upgrade.
Yeah the original latches were one of the cons for me on the original Flex 1500. Inergy leveled up with the new latches, these are seriously well made.
OK, so I have a question. those cooling ports on the sides are big and you speak about the fans. If you use this a lot in dusty conditions or better yet sand conditions, like in dunes. Dusty can be brutal to electronics. How can you clean and prevent buildup on the internal components?
This is a good question for Inergy. Now for example before I shot this video, I shot the sides with compressed air from about 12" away. I then used Pledge and microfiber cloth to clean the exterior (which I will say turned out great!).

So when you add multiple batteries, that weight can add up fast. Do they make wheels that go under this to allow easier transport?
