- The iPhone 15 is causing quite the stir online and unfortunately for hopeful buyers, the force behind this social media storm isn’t positive. Let’s unravel the backlash surrounding Apple’s latest release.

I’m simply worried that iPhone buyers are too quick to excuse things that they shouldn’t. If you’re paying that much money, you deserve better. I wish people had higher standards for themselves, especially when money is tight in our economy rn…
these are the same people that buy products when they first release. spend 1300 bucks on my 14 pro max 4 months ago because i make content and need the best camera system compatible with apps. thats why you wait for products to be resolved and do your own research.
@@dipass4176i wouldn't call any phone camera the highest quality camera system you need a high end camera like a Cannon or Sony DSLR for that
iPhone, 12 pro max owner, I agree with you I’ve held onto Apple because of my nostalgic iPod/music obsession but I’ve been very upset with the quality of the phones and the lack of customization Apple has to offer. We are far behind android and it’s not anything to argue about. It’s just true, however, I’m reluctant to switch over to android because Apple is all I know. But I have to say I’m considering it.
If the 15 was as good as they promised, I was going to upgrade. I’m so glade I didn’t.
I have an 11 pro. Got it in March 2020😅. Mailed in the first week of quarantine. Only reason I upgraded to this phone was the 8 was glitching on me and my charger port broke. That and this one is dark green😂💚.
I might just wait until the 16. If the 16 is b/s too, then I’ll probably get the 14 or I’ll look into android.
@@Ghostz63 I would say first of all the keyboard with the galaxy keyboard you can long price and stuff will change as far as certain letters changing into numbers and stuff. You can customize the fonts. You can have multiple screens going at once. There’s a lot of customization that I like about the Samsung phones that I wish Apple would incorporate like the notification light at the top so many things that it takes them years to release for us whereas the Samsung had it way back.
I love the durability of Apple. I was a big iPod fanatic. I’m really into Music and that’s why I kept my iPhone. With my whole iTunes library. I love that apple just works. The durability does simplicity, but there’s still screwing us over in a lot of ways.
If you’re just a regular person who isn’t obsessed with tech and always having the new thing, i’ve learned it’s best not to buy the new model of iPhone right when they release it. Last year i got the 14 pro right away and i had battery life and overheating problems. That doesn’t happen anymore, but it never feels good to be immediately dissatisfied with a $1,000+ purchase.
That's kinda true with all New phones, and generally all New things, we got Samsung battery exploding, Hoverboard battery catching fire for christmas too, i mean i don't mind waiting we can wait to see if these products are safe but we would never know if thoses products were dangerous if thoses peoples obsessed with New techs didn't massively buy them 😅
I think i will also wait like 1 or 2 year before purchasing the Meta Quest 3
getting a new model ANYTHING for me tbh. I don't want to be one of the people discovering issues firsthand. If something has proven its worth (and price drop over time) then I'll buy it lol. Not an apple fan myself though
Meh, that is true for any new piece of technology tbh. I got the 14 pro max on release and never had an issue, zero complaints here.
I mean I have an 8+ 😭😭
@@angry_sza_fan9006 I’m surprised that’s still operable! I know there was a class action lawsuit years ago, but Apple used to purposely slow down older models so you would have to purchase a new iPhone. I never believed they stopped doing that but perhaps they actually have.
The one thing that majorly turned me off for this phone is the AI messing with photos. I dont want my photos scanned, and modifed by AI
correct me if i'm wrong, but don't a lot of phones use AI to enhance images?
Apple hasn’t even started using/promoting AI as much as Google on their google pixels, it seems android is betting on AI way more that Apple
AI isn't an entity.
Me too I’m scared 😰

I work at a phone store. The iphone 15 is absolutely atrocious. One of our demo 15s cracked on the first week on display, the ios 17 update launched alongside it with a bug, which made transferring impossible because it would get stuck on doing the software update infinitely. E sims are absolutely an inconvenience and make things more difficult. There are really no notible differences between the 15 and 14. Speaking of the 14, its only a year old and im already seeing people come in and complain about it slowing down. Its crazy that people really think the 15 is all that great, when really a samsung ultra, which is the same price as a pro max, is leauges ahead in camera quality, features, functionality, etc. Really iphones are just trendy and they have facetime, and the apple store is more secure, otherwise id take samsung anyday. I think buys new phones just because theyre new is not a good idea in any regard, please do your research.
Always been a Samsung person myself! I love the galaxy phones, very happy with mine
Without those peoples purchasing actively new techs we would never know, personally i don't search top high end technologies because it will be in no use before 3 year and i'm more focused on performance for gaming or 3D animations.
[Here the liste]
So i'm good with my tiny powerfull iphone SE that i Can take everywhere (that i have the skill to change myself the battery), my Poco F3 (kinda good camera for me and good performance and Big screen, and PLAY STORE!!!!), an iPad 7 (because it goes along with the iphone too) with his pencil, Nomad app and procreate for my 3D sculpts and work and Samsung Galaxy S21 that i gave to my mother and programed to Help her using it (she like the camera and i also but she's a little bit behind with New techs so i added a lot of shortcut and tutorial on her phone)
That's maybe too much but if i find better i go for it if i can ^^
That’s why I’m stuck with my 11 PM… Still works great and that’s all I need 😂
I work at a cellphone store as well. No problem with our demos, but not being able to transfer was a nightmare and happens every year.
qthese samsung slaves(fanboys) ataccks again
So far for me, the 15 has been working well with no overheating issue, display issues, no cracks or anything. I see that I might be one of the lucky ones :/
is it the Pro one or the regular 15?
I have the 15 pro and mine is perfect.
Same no issues for me yet (fingers crossed) and I’ve had mine since the day it dropped.
Got 15 pro max and no issues too.
Same for me with my 15 pro max
With the titanium, im surprised no one saw this issue coming. Because titanium is tough and barely flexes if at all. Therefore dropping it the shock goes straight to the screen. Truly dissapointing.
1. Don't buy a 1500$ phone, its not worth it
2. Buy a protection case for your phone
3. Don't buy an iPhone
Didn’t androids have these problems as well? Samsung phones today are swelling and some exploding. This isnt just the note 7. It went up to the s10 or more
@@GoofyahhuncIeproductions2024Need citation on that as 2016 was the last major reported issue with a model
I love my 13. It’s been great to me. I keep my phones for a long time. Before it I had the 7s and I still miss it. I can’t imagine spending money every year for a new phone.
I have a 13 for my personal use and I love it. I got a 14 for my work phone just recently and that one’s cool but I’m not on it much unless to do work and text clients back. But I never opt for the brand new released phone. Too many kinks to work out.
right? its great 😊👍
i’m still using my 11 and don’t wanna replace it but the battery isn’t lasting long sadly
Same 😊 gave the 7 to my daughter.

Me happily watching this video on my Samsung
Same but mine is a tablet

I have a Motorola phone, still better
This why I go for samsung less expensive, more durable and got more buttons to push than one.
less expensive? what?
IPhones quite pricy depending on the model so does Samsung. So it's more quality or quantity.
Yep and the midrange offers always on display, flagship battery , micro sd card, 120 hz etc for 400 when Apple charges 800 plus and doesn't even come with those features

I literally switched to a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra when the 14 came out due to my 13 pro constantly freezing and not working properly. And only for the 15 to be like this just make me happier that switched.
the entire reason that i dont buy any apple products is: *you cant trust them*
I love how this whole controversy is mostly surrounding the 15 Pro and Pro Max, you know, the Pro phones, yet in the video it's only ever referred to as the iPhone 15s. It's crazy how much Apple has brainwashed the community to just completely see past the base models and always buy the Pro models (especially the Max)
One reason why I don’t get the most recent version of the phone whenever it releases, I’m keeping the one I have till it completely stops working
There has literally been no new major feature updates since the 11. I got the 14, and the only difference was that there’s some radar thing that can find the nearest cell tower if your lost in the woods or something.
I’ve had my iPhone 11 since 2020, and it’s starting to have issues since some of the new updates. Things do depreciate with age, but I’ve seen cheaper things last longer. I’m considering going back to a simpler phone once this one dies. A phone costs more than mortgage payment 😂
@@thegrimlooper definitely! If you’re having issues I would see if you can take it to the Apple Store and have them do a diagnostic test on it, even if it’s not covered by Apple care. If it’s glitching due to old hardware that’s incompatible with the updates, they HAVE to repair or replace it. I was having problems with my phone and considered going back to android, but realized that Apple had me over a barrel, because I had become so reliant on the cloud that I was going to have to load my data all over again! Visited the Apple Store last week. Pretty much all the 15 pros on display had scratches and hot to the touch! ☹️
Decided to instead upgrade from the regular 12 to the 14 pro, which I’m loving right now! 😊
To be fair those phones are used carelessly and nearly 24/7. The materials aren’t as strong as last year so that doesn’t help.
I got the 14 pro over the summer and love it.
@@Jaypro128but… have you not seen how people use their phones now? Nearly everyone under 50 has their phone in their hands at all times so yes it’s a lot of people, but probably not much more intensive use than a teenaged girl on tik tok let’s be real.

...yikes. Just dropping from a few feet was enough to immediately crack the thing huh? The biggest shock was the fact that the think broke from just using your hands.
Luckily, I don't even use iPhones anyway but I feel bad for anyone that bought the thing. I hope you can get a refund if it's actively worse than the previous version.
As a 12 Pro Max owner, it is reassuring to know keeping my model 3 years later was a good choice. With the Stainless steel band, I’ve only had to replace it once in my 3 year ownership cuz I went my first year without a case or screen. I rock a case and screen protector now. I’ll see how much I can trade it in for the 16 Pro next year.
iphone 13 user here; dropped my phone a few feet by accident but no issues or cracks ✨
rumor has it, that's why they decided on Titanium, since the aluminum alloy case definitely was flexy because it was thinner metal than before so they tried to bolster it just a bit in a very marketable way with no redesign. just stamp the case out of a tougher metal
Why I recommend Samsung for other clumsy people like myself. Been using the same phone for the last 2 years. I can't count the number of times I've dropped it in all sorts of places. Even accidentally threw it to the ground just two days ago 😅
As long as I have a phone case and screen guard, everything's perfectly fine.
I also found the specific cleaning instructions super weird. Typically, lightly washing my phone (not waterproof) beside a tap and leaving it to dry is enough 🤷♀️
My *old* phone got too hot to touch just from turning on. My solution was to stick it in the freezer for like 10 or 15 seconds and it wouldn't warm up as much afterwards
I got the 14 plus last December, wasn’t thinking about upgrading for 3 years. Thank god I’m not one of those sheep that upgrades every time new tech comes out
I am not either I still have my 12 Pro from 2020
Considering you only purchased the plus model , you can’t even afford to buy the best model of the phone you chose the year it came out , let alone purchase the newest phone each year 😂

Still rocking my iPhone 7, loving it, and paid less than $100 for it. You guys enjoy paying a high price to work out the kinks for people like me. You save me all the money, time, and frustration. That's the power of material non-attachment.
I got my first phone in 2019 and it was an iPhone 7. I had that phone up until October of this year, where I finally went and traded it in because the battery was starting to have issues and my carrier was having an upgrade deal. I ended up getting an iPhone 15 (the regular, not the pro or max) because I didn't have to "pay" for it, just get a second line, which I actually have use for and isn't that expensive. I found my 15 to be infinitely better than the 7, and I'm someone who doesn't even spend hours on my phone, but just every day functions were so much smoother and easier with the 15. So I do kind of get the appeal and don't think it's a sign that you're materialistic to want a phone that's suited to your needs.
However, what I personally DON'T get is people who feel the need to trade in their phone every year or every couple of years. That's clearly done for the status, and that I think IS materialistic.
I'm still with an iPhone 8+ and i can't believe it work better than the latest ones
@@AmicusAdastra I know! It's crazy, right? How much did you pay for it, do you remember?

Honestly, I'm glad my dad didn't allow me to get any apple products. Because looking at this, I would get myself really hurt.
I can see apple coming out and saying you're using the phone wrong 😂
_YOU'RE USING IT WRONG! 😡_
I will never pay $1.300 for an overpriced phone no matter what they say it has or it can do.
Idk if anyone has noticed but they dropped the prices for the 15s, but it’s been a hassle for me to find a 14, at least for my carrier. No wonder why,
That and they stopped production on the 14 pros because of low sales and ahead of the 15 launch so it'll be more of a pain to find new bc of that
Yep. I finally had to upgrade begrudgingly from my iPhone8 plus that I had for 7 years lol. Just ran out of space but no issues with how it ran.
So I didn’t want the iPhone15 pro but ended up with it because nothing else was available. The newest tech doesn’t interest me at all and I kinda wish I would’ve waited but so far I am not experiencing any issues with it thank goodness.
Also, the battery life is so good on my 15 Pro Max. I’ve never experienced a single issue with my freaking phone!
I had a $200 budget Android as an upgrade for my Iphone 7. Even my $200 Android don't have issues that bad.
Indeed. Budget android phones don't suffer from inherent problems like the iphone have
I use a 2018 Galaxy S9 SCV38 with a custom ROM, and have never had an issue. Only issue I have is that I am on a custom ROM, and that I do not have VoLTE because of it. But since I make all my calls using LINE, it is not an issue, and any important calls go to my home phone, so my cell number goes entirely unused except for occasional SMS messages. My cellular plan is pretty much for data only, and that's how I like it.
$200? 😂 My phone cost me around 120 bucks BACK IN 2021 and now it costs TWICE AS LESS - 60$! 😂😂😂
I guess now people with iPhones can date people with Androids now 😂
i still have my galaxy s10. i still get compliments from it even if its 3 years old.
This is why I always purchase a new phone, just before they release the newest model of it (basically I am one generation behind). Which I did last week, mind you it's a Samsung S23 Ultra and I couldn't be happier. I always end up with the best it can be. All the latest HW changes and tried and tested software. I do the same with vehicles, never fails! I really hope more apple users try Samsung. Their quality has me always amazed and your phone is truly yours, because you can customize literally everything about it.
My Iphone 15 has the fiber/dust inside the camera if you really look close enough, but it doesnt affect the photo quality, other than that no complaints.

I think Apple is doing this on purpose, because they know people are more lax with spending money these days.
This is why I always buy 1 or 2 generations earlier on anything concerning tech, at that point they have sorted all the bugs out.

Why is everyone talking about the 15 and the 15 pro like they're the same phone? The regular 15s are fine, it's the 15 _pros_ that are having issues. I have a 15 and I love it, no overheating or any other problems, it's one of the best phones I've ever had. That said, when I was buying it in the Apple store I noticed that several 15 pros were burning hot to the touch. Like I picked them up and had to put them right back down they were so hot. I do think some of the problems are user error/stupidity(losing 20% battery with 4 hours of maps and camera usage is completely normal and actually pretty good, those are two very battery-hungry apps), but there do seem to be a lot of legitimate issues with the pros this year.
my 15 pro has had no issues so far. idk if its just an issue with specific ones.
@@GhosteryIsDead Honestly it's probably just a handful of duds in the first batch. This is why I wait at least a month to buy any new phone, you never want the first ones off the assembly line.

Buying anything Apple related is just a poor spending of money, people who buy 1000$+ phones are just insecure snowflakes who need assurance that they are in fact a "high class" person.
I just don't see a point in buying something THAT expensive when there are cheaper options available that literally do the same thing. I bought my Galaxy S21e on an upcycle site for a really good deal and it's perfect.
Just use a case? What is it with overpriced bs and people not bothering to protect their (foolish) investment? *Edit* I wrote this before I got to the part about some phones breaking when putting the case on. Still ridiculous, but can't fault the person who tried to protect their investment***
It is stated in the video that someone cracked their screen changing their case. A lot of these people have taken the cases off due to the high temperature it reaches. Don’t want to melt it to your phone, your skin or face. Even so, there are cases that are harder and will take more force to put your phone into it. Pushing on the corners of the screen with lots of force could easily cause problems. It shouldn’t considering the phone should be able to withstand getting a case put into it.
Another great day having an android phone
Same, i have the absolutely brilliant samsung galaxy s23+ :)

Yea i just don't get how people spend 1000$ for an iphone and use it without a case 💀
Ive never had any issues with my 15 pro max. I came from a 12 pro max and its a decent upgrade. Ill keep this phone for about 3 years like i did the 12 pro max and by then itll be worth the upgrade like it was this time.
I ve never believe what iphone users say about not having issues
Anybody can say that never had a problem
You can say the same thing about any product @@Teluric2
None of this stuff has happened . I purchased my iPhone 15 pro max at launch and it’s has been nothing short of consistent.
the things people do… BUY A CASE!
Someone mentioned in the video literally tried just putting a case on and it cracked- 💀
@@GalaxyAnonnYou have to be joking....wait this not a sike moment? 😐
Some cases take a lot of force to change. And if the issue is the sides and corners, then you’re f’d either way considering that’s how you change cases.
I’ve worked in tech before so as a cardinal rule I NEVER buy a new item just because it’s out-I wait for all the dummies-oh I mean test subjects to buy one the first day then wait-first and second batches usually have major issues and I was proved correct again on the 15-I kept my 14 pro! Lol
I saw a theory on Twitter (X), claiming that mostly iPhones assembled in India have these issues
Only non pro variants are assembled in india, although most of the issues are at least more notable on the pro variants, being new chips and new materials used
i was super skeptical and scared, i have the 15 pro max, it was super cheap for my family of 4 to all upgrade for the price of just one phone. i have not had many issue, i upgraded from an 11 i had the oldest phone out of us (before that i had the 6s). i am still super cautious and paranoid about dropping it (thinking about getting a wii remote strap so i dont drop it). i was struggling to update my 11 for years, so a lot of this is super new to me. but so far im satisfied. watching this video on it right now, its not overheating or having any audio issues. the one thing i would say is speakerphone seems really quiet even at full volume. other than that it seems pretty good.
Buy a full phone case with a strap on it (like the Wii remote strap or Nintendo Joycon straps)
So it's protected AND kinda fall proof 😅
I would do this if i were in your situation 😅
I have the 11 and never have issues with updating it. What do you mean exactly?
Yeah I was literally shaking I was so shook to the core it was insane.
@@laurenanderson7330he just means getting a new one. I also have the 11 and my old 10R and I love them both I don’t really see a reason to upgrade at all
I have an iPhone 15 pro and I love it but, the first thing I do with my phones is put them in a protective case. This is good to know! I will never take it out! Lol.
My 15 Pro is fine, like many it got warm the first few days but this was hard to judge as I had a case on it, same goes for the finger print issues. Battery life is fine so much so I've set it to only charge to 80%. This is the first new iPhone I've bought outright ever, thats about $2400AUD for the 15 Pro with 512Gb and I have no regrets. Its a great phone, my only complaint being some AI issue with the camera when using portrait, which I home will get better with software updates. And since I don't update yearly I'll have 2 or 3 years to see if it gets better.
😆 don't be in your feelings upset about the iphoney.. you were / are lucky..for now 😉
You know darn well Galaxy IS ALREADY set to go to up to 80/85% on battery 🔋 talk bout you has to set yours
Really thankful I haven't had any of these issues, I have the iphone 15 and I couldn't be happier with it.
pretty sure the 15 is fine along with the plus
I SWEAR i'm NEVER swapping my iPhone 4 for THIS
Might wanna at least upgrade to an iPhone 6S....the last good iPhone
Years ago I said that apple without steve jobs is going to fail, I was just years ahead of the time.
THIS.....IS....WHY....I.....LIKE......ANDROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan on getting the Galaxy S24 Ultra
Go for it.
Here watching this video in my s23u after 8 months of use, and I'm still very happy with it.
I agree.... I plan on Upgrading my Sky Device to a Galaxy s23 ultra
Bro.... If anyone is wasting money on an iPhone 15..... You need Jesus
Happily using a Google Pixel at the moment but my next device is gonna be another Xperia
i sure do love spill, she be giving me the best videos to put on in the background and listen to while crafting ❤
Or… just use a case lol legit solve all these problems 😂
This reminds me of how the iphone 4 had issues with signal or how the samsung galaxy note 7 would explode.
Im not sure if im just old but the current iphone looks exactly like my phone (lg revvl 6)
Now I’m debating if I should get the 15 next month when my phone is eligible for an upgrade
Nah, I'd say just take a pass on the 15 and wait for the 16. The 15 feels like Apple tried making a big change but failed and the 15 is more like a test device and the 16 might be a more perfected 15.
Get a droid
@@myshadowstalksme Droid was a motorola phone line. you mean get an android device. Far as that, it's difficult to get an iphone user to switch to android. Is android better? oh definitely, but people like what they like. No reason to try and change their preference.
And people, THIS is why I am a proud owner of an android Motorola smartphone. 😊
Everyone should just wait on these new ones, I went from 10 (X) to 14 😅 glad not 15!
This is why I'm upgrading from Iphone 11 to Iphone 11 pro because more affordable and still as good as the newer ones. Three cameras too
