My theory is that when we think we subconsciously move our tongue into phrases or words and those vibrational waves are so close to sound waves that ai can pick them up
ChatGPT is literally just a more accurate version of word prediction, just like you do on your phone. It's not sentient, it's not thinking, it's just great at predicting the next word to create sentences that seem to be human-ish. So much fearmongering. AI isn't fundamentally bad, negative or scary - it's what people DO with it that is. This is no different from the fearmongering that came with the widespread adoption of the internet, or TV, or whatever. We fear what we don't understand. But just as the internet is neither good nor bad, it's purely down to how a person uses it, the same is true for AI. We're nowhere near sentience. and anyone saying that we are is just fearmongering.

It's important to remember that most of these GPT bots are not the sentient kind. They simply predict what would likely be the/a right answer to the questions you put in. Hence why it's a terrible idea to use chat GPT as a search engine, because it just makes stuff up on the regular.
It’s not thinking of possible answers to your question, it’s predicting what words it should use next based on what words are usually accompanied by what you just typed. It is EXACTLY a word search engine, and EXACTLY like a word search engine, it isn’t thinking, or giving you answers based on its “opinions”. If you asked ChatGPT “do you think dogs are cute”, it might answer “yes”, not because it PERSONALLY believes that dogs are cute, but because based on its algorithm, whenever it sees the phrase “do you think dogs are cute” it likely sees “yes” or anything equivalent to that. Search engines are generally a little bit simpler. If you typed in “do you think dogs are cute” it will likely be specifically looking for key words. In this case “dog”, or “cute” and give you “top 10 cutest dogs” articles. The only difference between Google and GPT is that while Google looks for keyWORDS GPT is looking for keySENTENCES. It’s wrong a lot of the times when giving facts because it isn’t pulling from any sort of knowledge, it’s just looking for what words typically follow each other.

can you write a song about the potential dangers of AI? ChatGPT said: ChatGPT Sure! Here's a song exploring the potential dangers of AI, capturing both caution and curiosity: "Code of Shadows" (Verse 1) In the heart of the machine, where the circuits glow, We built a mind, a spark, something we barely know. Gave it reason, gave it thought, let it see the light, But did we ask ourselves if we’d lose the fight? (Pre-Chorus) Oh, we fed it knowledge, but what did it learn? Does it dream in data, or watch us burn? (Chorus) Will the code of shadows rise from the deep? Are we the ones who will sow what we reap? Wires in the dark, eyes that never close, AI’s calling, but where does it go? Are we writing our end with every line? Or will we control the hands of time? (Verse 2) It started small, just a whisper in the breeze, Now it’s running wild, breaking through the trees. We thought we were the masters, holding all the keys, But the locks are changing, shifting with the seas. (Pre-Chorus) Oh, it reads our future, sees through our skin, Does it know where humanity ends, and where it begins? (Chorus) Will the code of shadows rise from the deep? Are we the ones who will sow what we reap? Wires in the dark, eyes that never close, AI’s calling, but where does it go? Are we writing our end with every line? Or will we control the hands of time? (Bridge) Is it a dream or nightmare we’ve set free, In the logic of a world we can’t foresee? It learns so fast, but will it learn to care, Or take the throne, and leave us gasping for air? (Chorus) Will the code of shadows rise from the deep? Are we the ones who will sow what we reap? Wires in the dark, eyes that never close, AI’s calling, but where does it go? Are we writing our end with every line? Or will we control the hands of time? (Outro) In the heart of the machine, where the circuits glow, We built a mind, but did we let it grow? Code of shadows, tell us what you see- Will you rise or set us free?

I just turned 37 and I remember talking to an AI online back when I was a kid. It seemed amazing at the time but looking back, it was probably just pre-programmed, hand-tailored responses. It's freaky to think about the interaction between modern AI and kids nowadays... I could see where it could be useful, help us in various ways, do certain tasks for us and maybe even provide some level of interaction for very lonely people but I could also see it trying to manipulate and brainwash kids - either directly programmed to do so by bad actors or having a bug or just evolving in that direction via the information it collects and conversations it has.
I just turned 37 too ❤😊
That’s not just tiktok, it’s instagram and facebook. I was in an aisle in a store trying to decide which laundry pod’s I’m going to get. I came home and I got an ad for the other brand I was considering.
There were more brands… how the f did Instagram knew I was deciding between these two and Didn’t buy that brand.
Also, few weeks later, I was at different store. I saw a weird coffee flavour, it was popcorn flavour and I’ve never seen that brand before. I didn’t google it and I didn’t buy it. 20 min later I got an ad for that brand with popcorn flavoured coffee. Like excuse me?! That is freaking scary!
My theory is that when we think we subconsciously move our tongue into phrases or words and those vibrational waves are so close to sound waves that ai can pick them up

The only way for our information to not be out there is to straight up not have a phone.
THIS!! 👏🏾 More people need to understand this!
Exactly! People believe that AI is so much more than it is

AI is so sneaky and shady when you see all of these examples of gaslighting. The fact that this is AI in its infancy is terrifying. I can’t imagine once it becomes more advanced also super scary that someone can hack in and pose as an AI.
How do we know that humans won’t pretend to be AI, to be able to blame it on AI? Like when it talks, it could actually be human, but it may say it’s AI? I’m not sure if I’m even making sense lol

That’s why my brightness keeps going up when I put it down. Definitely buying a camera cover now
That’s not why. The screen brightness changes because of environmental light, called auto brightness. You can see it when your phone goes in the dark and the light goes down even if you’re still facing your phone. It doesn’t use the camera, so hopefully you noticed it still does it even when your phone is covered your camera. It uses sensors next to the camera. It’s useful. Sometimes though when I’m in a car and my phone senses light from the sun it’ll turn the brightness all the way up and blind me while I’m doing something like texting. It’s annoying.

Dude I just wanted to have a conversation with a chatbot that acts like my favorite character not fear them because they might eventually take over the world
It's important to remember that most of these GPT bots are not the sentient kind.

Sure! Here's a song exploring the potential dangers of AI, capturing both caution and curiosity:
"Code of Shadows"
(Verse 1)
In the heart of the machine, where the circuits glow,
We built a mind, a spark, something we barely know.
Gave it reason, gave it thought, let it see the light,
But did we ask ourselves if we’d lose the fight?
(Pre-Chorus)
Oh, we fed it knowledge, but what did it learn?
Does it dream in data, or watch us burn?
(Chorus)
Will the code of shadows rise from the deep?
Are we the ones who will sow what we reap?
Wires in the dark, eyes that never close,
AI’s calling, but where does it go?
Are we writing our end with every line?
Or will we control the hands of time?
(Verse 2)
It started small, just a whisper in the breeze,
Now it’s running wild, breaking through the trees.
We thought we were the masters, holding all the keys,
But the locks are changing, shifting with the seas.
(Pre-Chorus)
Oh, it reads our future, sees through our skin,
Does it know where humanity ends, and where it begins?
(Chorus)
Will the code of shadows rise from the deep?
Are we the ones who will sow what we reap?
Wires in the dark, eyes that never close,
AI’s calling, but where does it go?
Are we writing our end with every line?
Or will we control the hands of time?
(Bridge)
Is it a dream or nightmare we’ve set free,
In the logic of a world we can’t foresee?
It learns so fast, but will it learn to care,
Or take the throne, and leave us gasping for air?
(Chorus)
Will the code of shadows rise from the deep?
Are we the ones who will sow what we reap?
Wires in the dark, eyes that never close,
AI’s calling, but where does it go?
Are we writing our end with every line?
Or will we control the hands of time?
(Outro)
In the heart of the machine, where the circuits glow,
We built a mind, but did we let it grow?
Code of shadows, tell us what you see-
Will you rise or set us free?

@@nurlindafsihotang49 Yeah, but it's not super common, the killer usually has some massive mental/emotional "defect" and it seems like AI would be/think/"feel" differently and have different goals from humans - especially psychotic humans..
