That's a case by case scenario, imo ... 2 different guys, same venue, same watches and monetary value ... but 2 guys with unique perspectives and mindsets. As a us/uk dual national, one of my biggest gripes is that the UK government and legislation puts its citizens between a rock and hard place... being unable to legally protect their family and home ... Using private security during the course of a luxury watch market event or related business deal etc ... can bring on more unwanted attention ... compared with someone comfortable moving around the city, while staying low key... but if you aren't gonna be comfortable doing that alone or with a colleague, having ur own security is always gonna be worthwhile for peace of mind ... can't put a price on that imo... Again, comes down to personal tolerance for risk, having a mindset which will be fit 4 purpose there ... I'm not based in London but within the 5 boros of nyc, it's very hard 2 get a firearm/carry permit as a civilian. Only exceptions made on any sort of meaningful level ... is for business owners that deal with paper currency on a regular basis. Our family has had a couple of corner stores and couple bodegas in qnz and bk since mid 90s ... so from my granddad running daily operations in 94' ... through the present day where myself and other cousins/relatives who are colleagues to, have concealed carry permits valid in NYC 5 boros... it's very rare for whatever reasons but ppl who legit needs should have avenue to get a permit despite being generally prohibited in any given area like nyc ... it's not gonna make the situation any worse with US or UK ... criminals have open and easy access to more firearms than ud like to believe.. .
This may have been asked before but l'm really intrigued, with London having such high crime rates, well publicised watch thefts and you being a well recognised watch dealer/you tuber. Do you feel safe travelling across London mostly on public transport with potentially tens of thousands of pounds worth of watches in your backpack? If that is the case it seems incredibly irresponsible, risky & dangerous.🤷🏼♂️
Crickets in the background. I doubt you'll receive an answer. Good point though. And its weird how he walks around with his arm out filming himself. Its like raising your hand to let everyone know you're a youtuber. Look at me, look at me. And then a criminal notices him.
HIi its me Phil . Im not desperate its easy money from idiouts. Thanks mate have a wonderful watch day. tell all your friends and family to pay double for all the steel rolexs from me. I will give you a refereeal fee of 20 dollars per each watch after i make at least 5 k on each watch thatnks dumbasses
It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. AMZWATCH watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
Never judge a book by its cover, just because people have luxury items, nice cars doesn’t mean anything. If you were that busy selling watches, collecting watches, viewing watches, none of these guys could have the time to make videos. Lots of watches are sold on consignment now and it’s very noticeable as there priced higher, so the greedy seller gets all his money and the dealer makes a couple of quid too.
Women buy watches because they love them. Men are the Flippers. For the most part it seems. Get the women involved and you can totally kill the love and passion for watches. Never mind the Quartz Crisis.
where's the heathrow purchase ? where's the watch content ? all we see is phil getting on and off the tube and tapping wrapped up boxes at home the amount of watch content in this video could be uploaded on UA-came shorts
You should write a book.Fiction is your strong point.
Clickbait bullshit which i dont have time for. Thats an unsub .
Can you let me know where the Heathrow Airport purchase piece is in this video. Did I miss it ??????
Keep waiting mate. Unfortunately I've never seen Phil answering anything at all in the comment boxes
You missed it. Just watch the video!

I think it's hilarious that at the 2:54 mark you looked at your phone for the time in a room full of watches.
It’s not like they’re all wound to the current time.

Is there ever any security concern / precautions at these meets when carrying such a high value item?
The camera gal must be riding shotgun.

They know he’s not a real watch dealer.
Have you seen the Ombre Slate Day Date in person yet? How much over are they going for?
Anyone buying readily available watches above msrp is nuts.
Replying solely based on video title. Grey dealers are extremely desperate now

Wasn’t part of the tenancy agreement 😉.
