Loved to hear you say how nasty barley dust can be. In 1978, we were harvesting up around Potlatch, Idaho, with four IH 453's that had fairly decent cabs. It was getting late in the season and we were scrambling to get the crops in and had to go rent another combine. That combine was a fairly nice Gleaner, but it had NO cab at all. Just a big canvas umbrella to keep the sun off. But all that dust comes right up off the header and you find out how itchy barley dust can be. Everybody had to take their turn on the Gleaner, and my day driving that thing was Hell on Earth!
This is an awesome channel showing severe conditions in NOT SO FLAT GROUND.... I'm sure you have learned to just wear brown skivvies by now.... 🤣🤣. But seriously, great video content with all of your uploads and all about taking care of business.......
I've never combined oats or barley but have cut lots of wheat and milo. I've heard that oats are itchy, and you say barley is as well, are they as bad as milo?
Thanks for another great video!
Doesn’t matter how many videos I see I still love seeing those combines level!

Hi Trevor and Jamie, we apply talcum powder around our necks that does reduces the itchy feeling especially in sorghum. Regards, Bill.

Thank you, you guys are a no BS operation...👍👍. Wish I was able to come be a hired hand for you.
Do you guys turn your engines up in your combines for extra horsepower?

Man, I would have that thing cranked up an extra hundred horses... Lol

Can not say that I have ever cut that. Barley is much worse than wheat, i know that.
Do you have any chick peas or canola
Yeah. Bit of both. Billy beans we call them.
Bom dia..terrenos bruto exigen máquinas bruta..Aí tem quê ser case..aqui no Brasil nos terrenos doblados elas vão muito bem
I hope none of that barley is being sold to Anheuser Busch.

Why is the reel sooo fast ?
Its how he has his set. Mines a bit slower, but im guessing he was having feeding issues so to help that you can increase the reel speed
