We had a JD S670 that broke the crankshaft the first year. (Cool thing was they were able to limp it onto the truck with 3 cylinders running). Left the field for the JD shop late on a Thursday, was back with a new engine Saturday morning. Really appreciated the hours some mechanics put in to pull that off.
Good heavens I do not envy that engine problem at all. Hope Case will get it replaced quickly. 9240s aren't very old so hopefully still under warranty.
Trevor, about 30 years ago I learned about a location where a trolley system had been built on the breaks of the Snake River to carry bagged grain down to the water, I think around Lower Granite Dam. There was a road that went down to the river (tough on the brakes), and came out just above a dam. Do you know of this location, and could you send me driving instructions? I have a friend from Tenn. coming to visit and we would like to visit the site. Thank you, Carl
How many hours on that blown motor? Still had all the oil and coolant beforehand? Sounds like a typical story for a newish engine from Case or New Holland. 🤣
Awesome video thanks for sharing and good luck

Case combines everywhere ,in Scotland Class combines are by far the most common , probably followed by New Holland then Deere ,then Case ,MF
