It turns red when recording, but it is on all the time. You can easily cover it with a piece of tape. The drain on the batter is so small it is negligible.
A great video you didn’t go over the PTT button and you didn’t talk about the 4G capability which I would like to know more about I don’t know if the GPS works unless you have the SIM card version
The PTT button only works with a compatible radio and adapter cable. It is not a function that is internal to the camera. This a camera, not a radio. It has no radio function. The PTT button only allows you to use the camera as a microphone for your radio.
Great video, very informative answers most of my questions. I have the Boblov Model WA7. In the video settings it has a G Sensor Setting and gives you 4 choices Off, High, Medium, Low. Do have a recommendation which setting to use? Thanks in advance.
Glad it was helpful. The G sensor is for when you use the camera as a dash camera. The sensitivity level has to do with how much of a jolt is needed to activate the camera to start recording or to lock a file. It will depend on how you are using the camera.
Hey there, very good demonstration. I actually have a PD 50. I've been using it for years, and it's an exceptional body cam. I have various different purposes for it. It's held up very well. However, recently, my home screen freezes when I press the home screen button. Therefore I cannot access the change of date and time on my screen, etc. All other functions still work. So I'm pretty sure I need to reset this body cam, but I'm not finding any instructions on how to do that. Actually, I did find instructions somewhere and it just said to reset it. Haha, reset it where and how? I see this little tiny button above my Bob love screen, so I'm thinking if I push that in that might work. But I'm also not sure, and don't want to try it until I'm sure. Thanks if you got any info on that that would be great. UPDATE: OKAY I TOOK COURAGE AND HIT THAT LITTLE TINY BUTTON. IT DIDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING. I EVEN HELD IT DOWN FOR 10 SECONDS JUST IN CASE THERE WAS SOME KIND OF MAGICAL MODE TO IT. NO CHANGE ON THAT HOME SCREEN.
I don't have the device in hand so I can't offer much troubleshooting help at the moment. When I get it and can look at it I will see if I can find an answer to the reset question. I doubt that hole you are talking about is the reset hole. If there is a hard reset hole, it would not be in the open. It would be covered, like behind the battery door, or the PTT flap cover. I have never noticed one, but I have not been looking.

If you own the same model as in this video, you will need to use the USB Mini cable that came with the camera to download the recordings to a computer.
when used as a dashcam, good to see you can film and charge at the same time. My ancient gopro dosent allow simultaneous film/charge. its one or the other.

I am not sure what you are referring to. My unit did not come with one of those. From the sound of of your description it might be a shoulder clip. Does it fold out to a horizontal position? If so, it may be intended to clip on a shirt that has shoulder loops.
I bought a BOBLOV body camera and when it arrived it was unbranded and pretty average looking finish. The user manual states its a Model N9. Do you know anything about this model and why would it unbranded. Thank you in advance.

I had to get a body cam to protect myself or at least record corrupt cops' actions in Colorado. No laws enforced here, the citizens are on their own, particularly the disabled & elderly. Johnny's case was especially horrible because he shot & killed the murderer who shot an Arvada cop. Johnny's "thanks"? Arvada cops shot & killed him on the spot. Criteria to be a cop in Colorado? No soul, no conscience, no ethics, no humanity. Heck, it's not needed! They never see a day in jail, there is no police accountability. Sure, they have "a law", but who enforces it? I myself have been a victim of bad policing, so I know first hand how it works. I try to keep in mind that, right or wrong, police have to power to kill you, so it is better to follow the wise words of Jesus and "Agree with your adversary while you are in the way with them.", then to stand on your rights and die because some police shot you because he thought you were resisting arrest or a threat to him. Unlike most people, I've been dead 2 times & I'm not afraid. I've been shot at by one guy, my ex shot at me, an ex-wife of a then-current boyfriend shot up the entire house with a drive-by & I've had to hold a gun on someone when they were trying to break into my apartment when my first son was 6 months old. I've been asked a few times "Do you really think you could shoot someone if you had to?" Yes, I've already been in that position. I do believe our children are worth killing for. On this model, the only way to retrieve videos is to connect the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable. Some newer models have a removable SD card that can be read by a card reader.
Yes. The idea was that law enforcment could use the camera as a hand held microphone for their two-wat radio. Unfortunately, it appears that either Boblov drop the ball, or no 2-way radio support for the idea was ever found. There is a special cable that is necessary, that attaches to the the camera and plugs into the 2-way radio. But this special cable does not exist to buy anywhere, so for now, that yellow button is just there and it serves no purpose.
I am not sure what you are asking. It has a clip that can clip to things. If your vest has something it can clip to, I assume it would work, but without know how and what you want to clip it to, I cannot be certain.
My model does not have an SD card, so I am not familiar with the one you have. However, not all SD cards are the same. I have especially had problems with SSD cards made by PNY and off-brand cards with some devices. I recommend you buy only cards made by Samsung or SanDisk such as these here. You do not need any specific software to download the files off the camera. The camera acts as an external drive when connected to a PC, just like any other USB thumb drive or portable drive. I hope this helps.
I have no problems on anything for the camera. I just can't get the 32G's to refill so you can take videos. When you hit record it says card is full. But 32G is at 0.
@@tommytipton4388 So, you have deleted all the files off the storage, but it still registered as full. Hmmm...? That is odd. Have you tried turning on LOOP recording? 8:39 This should allow you to record, even if the camera thinks the card is full. It is a workaround and not a direct fix, but hopefully, it will get you back in business.

Just got one of these and it has 'human speaker' option 'on or off' in the menu. Any idea what on earth this is for? MT The audio recording seems pretty awful with this on or off.
I do not have that option on mine but I going to assume it might be something like Voice Activated Recording, or something like VOX for the 2-way radio function. Those are just assumptions though.
You either have to connect the camera to a computer and download or delte the files, or you can turn on LOOP recording (08:40) and let the camera overwrite the earliest files.
These cameras do not have built-in transmitters. To use the PTT function, they must be connected to a 2-way radio using a cable. Then you can use them in the same manner you would use the mic piece on a CB radio.
if you come across police interaction you need a camera the only way to capture the truth, i just wish it would record to my internet account were corrupt cops can't get to it,
You lost me right off. You need to say what button you are pressing each time you press a button. I can't watch you and look at my cam at the same time.
The best way to view recorded videos is to connect the camera to your PC via a USB cable. This is the only way to get files off of the device to view them.

In Dash Cam mode, the unit power on and start recording automatically when unit is pugged into power via the USB cable.

It is sht, keeps locking up and when reset it loses all the data. You never know what you record will make it. Needs a removable memory card

You can record continuously, but the file will be broken up into 30 minute segments.

I doubt that there is an in-camera way to do this. It could be done in post editing by cropping the video to cut that portion out.

As far as I know, there is no way to delete files in the camera. This is due to the camera being used to record for legal purposes.

Video can be transferred to you computer via the provided USB cable. You can then transfer the files from the computer to the iPhone.

It has a decent microphone. I do not know if an external option. You can always record on a separate device though.

What's PTT for. I gave 2 and they won't transmit to eachother
These cameras do not have built-in transmitters. To use the PTT function, they must be connected to a 2-way radio using a cable. Then you can use them in the same manner you would use the mic piece on a CB radio.

I personally have never done this but some online comments suggest that you need to unprotect the file before you can delete it.

I'm an old visually impaired guy and can't figure out how to actually play recorded videos. Can anybody offer a goofy old man a bit of help?
The best way to view recorded videos is to connect the camera to your PC via a USB cable. This is the only way to get files off of the device to view them.
Take the tape off the menu side lol
