We did your Modesto tour last Sunday with Wayfarer. The family had a great time. You picked some great places to stop on the tour. Recommend it for anyone in the Bay Area looking to do a day trip.
I’m honored you featured the area I live by in Bakersfield! I will say, if you’re coming to see the blooms, which are still around, please use your turn signal and plan your route. There’s a lot of commuters on those roads during the golden hour. There’s also a lot of big tractor trailer truck along those areas, so please be careful. And lastly, please don’t litter.
Wow this was the exact video I was looking for. Thank you so much for all the tips and places to check out. Loved how specific you got by sharing with us the roads to take and specific farms/spots to check out.
This is a fantastic video! I don’t know of any other almond blossom videos out there. This is so comprehensive! Thanks, Chris! Maybe we will try to drive up to see the almond blossoms next year.
Thanks for another great video Mr. Chris. So beautiful along the highways. I don't think I have seen a video of you driving. Nice change. LOVED your little explorer chasing you while you were running from her in your BRIGHT YELLOW SNEAKERS. LOL Don't let your co-workers tease you about your shoes. They are awesome. :-) Enjoy your weekend Sir.
I’m a Bakersfield native & actually stumbled on this video because I was watching your Japan cherry blossom video! Funny that you mentioned Snow Road… I’ve heard that it’s called Snow Road because the ground looks like snow when all the petals fall off.
Pero.. pasamos por ahí y abrí la ventanilla para verlos mejor , gracias a este video se de qué son los árboles, aunque he de decir que no me agradó para nada el olor
Hi Chris. Thank you for the video. It's nice to know that there are several places to enjoy the Almond Blossoms. Would be interesting if they had an Almond Blossom viewing party like the do the Cherry Blossom viewing in Japan. LOL. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
Well this certainly answered my question as to what those blossoms are. My husband and I were driving to Monterey via the 5 last weekend and I was all like “what blossoms are those?” Thanks, Yellow Productions!
I have watched some of your videos and what I have seen so far has been good. When are you coming to Scotland? I am sure you would fall in love with the country and the people.
I would definitely like to visit Scotland. We had a trip planned about 3 years ago. Then we found out we were going to be parents. So didn't want to go too far with a bun in the oven.. hopefully we will get Scotland back on the list
What an extensive tour, impressive! Also whoa, I've never heard of Traver and I'ma proud Central Valleyan lol just curious, what was your formula for ranking the destinations? Finally, this year I wasn't convinced to buy the Wayfarer audio tour because I'ma local and feel like the info is pretty standard - so how would you sell me on buying it? What's different or special?
Hi Freitalisa -- glad you enjoyed the video! These sights aren't ranked.. but ordered.. Most south to most north. But the list of 7 simply comes from the 7 best places we visited across our 6 days in the central valley
Oh. And for "why" you should take the tour, I think this SF Gate article describes it better than I could: www.sfgate.com/travel/article/Central-Valley-almond-tour-modesto-16972263.php
@@YellowProductions I think I saw that at costco during christmas time. I wanted to get it, but couldn't justify the cost yet. We have other priorities to take care of first. I will get one eventually though.
I would Love 😍 to see you do a Strawberry 🍓 Festival Outing or perhaps a Orange 🍊 or Lemon 🍋 but one about the annual Cherry 🍒 Blossom 🌸 in WDC. Sincerely Yours 🤠 Mr Severance, "The Cake 😋🍰🥫🎂🥳🎈🎉 Man", "World 🌎🌍 Cruiser"&"Succulent Collector".
As someone who is involved with farming and has a few friends that grow almonds, I would like to give you a big warning. 1. You are on private property! You must have permission by the farmer to be on that property. And many of the area farmers do not like when people wonder about on their property without their permission. This could cause some legal problems for you personally. 2. During this time of the bloom, many of the local farmers are putting out a bloom spray that is very toxic to people. This bloom spray helps prevent fungus and other such diseases from happening to their trees. That's another reason why you don't need to be there. Just letting you know.
Thanks for the tips Craig. That's why I particularly mentioned Rodin Farms in Modesto and Seka Hills in Yolo that are cool with people exploring their orchards.
Hi French Montana. More are coming. I am putting out this series. And then my Canada series after this.. I wanted to hold the Canada videos until after winter is over since most people are visiting Canada right now during cold season
Modesto is posting up daily pics of their Almond Blossom status.. just budding right now: visitmodesto.com/almond-blossom-cruise/ -- blooms start earliest in the south where it's warmer..

So cool....Bakersfield, i would of never thought
Yes! All the orchards by Mountain House all the way to Brentwood are beautiful!
Those look really cool! I like how they are quite plentiful around the Central Valley even without having to get off the highway!
They are really beautiful for sure Scott!

Last year I went to strawberry fields in Turlock California 😎👍🏽❤️
Very nice show! May I go to see it this weekend? Thanks a lot!
Trying to purchase your audio tour, but it’s not allowed to buy it. Time expired? Please let me know. Thanks a lot!

You'll see it again later in this series :)
W❤️w. Your baby is so cute...
Thanks Tania!
I miss the almond blossoms from Manteca.
In Turlock California is best farms 😎👍🏽❤️
Thanks for the tip Oscar!
Is there any tour that go out to see the almond blossom from LA, Sacramento…?
Not that I'm aware of Jonathan
I almost went there this year, but I couldn't go, maybe next year.
I would have to add, almond orchards dont stop in Sacramento, you can continue on HYW 99 as far as you can through Yuba City
Great point. Sacramento was just as far as we went on this trip
i might have missed it but until when is the season of almond trees there? i think i saw this video too late :(
Correction on the street name. It is 7th Standard Road not 7th Avenue in Bakersfield
Thanks for that drea!

Did you buy a drone?
Indeed.. i finally broke down and bought my own drone! DJI Mavic Mini 2... I thought the overhead shots would be critical for this video

Hello, do you know who owns the orchard off Kansas ave. Near the new freeway? I would love to take pictures but I would like to ask for permission
Hi Mamma. Sorry. I don't know who the owner is
