Yep Chet, my grandpa always said when you can set your bare bottom in fresh dirt and not be cold, it’s time to plant, stay safe!!
sounds like a variation on planting by the moon, if you catch my drift....
The grass in Florida is dormant until the ground temperature is 80°F. It's green, but not growing yet.
Anybody else watching farming while farming? Can’t think of a more entertaining channel than this one to watch while driving back and forth in the field
I’m watching farming while pulling a trans out of a ford OBS with a 7.3. I hope that’s cool enough.
@@HappyHarryHardon you should get with my buddy from work. He has a sick 95 obs.
When u have a 2020 chevy with 25k miles and hes been in the shop for 6 times going in for a 7th
Moving irrigation in April just crazy
Night calving in MT lol
Glad to see Nikki is doing the editing. Praying for you and Chet daily.
I just want to say thank you for taking us on your journey.

Oh, OK, I get it... I always wondered where frozen food came from... frozen ground... 🤣🤣🤣
LOL I saw 31 and thought it was kinda hot till I remembered they must be talking Fahrenheit.
Dougo is always so grounded. ITS GOING To Be a GOOD YEAR!!
Last video you mentioned witnessing a miracle. All those prayers are working!
Nikki as always you have our support, love, and continued prayers.
My goodness that is one impressive bit of equipment. So glad I didn't have to write that check. Hi Nikki🖐🖐
Always good to see Nikki editing.Send some moisture to faith hope farms .They like some
I love it when you and dougo talk things thru without the joking around. I like having fun butsometimes it's nice nice when it's a little more sober
Dougo might be losing his mind from stress on the inside but outside he is cool as a cucumber. #experience. Great Machine
Chet glad to see you so excited about getting out in the field. Enjoyed the video.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
I can barely get mildew to grow but I am enough of a gearhead to love that equipment. Good planting season, guys!
First, Get Well Soon Nikki!🙂
The three amigos... are finally planting after a long winter of maintenance, repair & pulling out each other's hair! Father appears kool... as usual, sonny is the effervescent, smiling firecracker, and the swede is the same big old blonde bear that completes the team!
We look forward to another season of the life and times of Larson Farms!!!🙂🙂🙃😊
Nice one guys, now your happy that you are in the fields again and plantin, good luck and success.
Get that tractor chipped and unleash those horses.
That rig is a beast! Don't blame you for calling for a tune! Hope those temps hold for you, corn is done here in Alabama, beans and cotton coming next. Best of luck this season!
All the best to you and Nikki
That is one BIG GREEN BEAST!
Nice to see Douglas learning the new technology. Great video. Awesome footage
Great video thanks again
The three of you crawling around in the dark; trying to find corn kernels!😂🤣😄
Tree Tree TRee TREEE!!!!!! lol didn't even stop lol just a tiny branch gotta love Dougo. Put er in sport mode n let er eat lol
Have you tried mixing some ether starting fluid into the diesel fuel. You should get at least another 1000 rpms out of the quad. Of course, the fuel pump might blow off the side of the block but that merely adds to the excitement.
In no till we use a long ice scraper to find seed pulls soil levels the seed plus you see the spacing in one go. Great film cold a night our side of the pond too.
It's 70 in arizona 30 would be our coldest night of the year. Two to three months ago now. God bless
Hey Chet, you might not see this but I was advised from John Deere to run at higher gear with your revs sitting around 1700 rpm’s, it’s better for torque for the tractor. And it’s also quieter in the cab.
Farm Parents Raise Good Crops and Great Children. Congrats Dad you done good!!
So happy y'all are planting again. Just love you guys. Thank you for everything. Really hope Nikki is doing better.
Good edit Nikki - hope your immune system is rebuilding in there and you're holding up to all this ok....
It’s amazing to me that with all that machinery there are still 3 of you down on your hands and knees digging in the dirt to make sure the seeds are planted just right. More people should see the care and love the farmers put into there farming. Great job
Watching the new tractor rolling across the field pulling your high-speed planter is very impressive indeed. Just looking at your entire operation and how well you maintain everything makes me wonder how proud you each must feel. Bravo and major kudos from a small Tennessee boy. I very much look forward to seeing your videos. Thanks! bill...
The complexity and the size of machinery now is just amazing. I still wonder where it ends?
Now, that is a sweet rig!
New to the channel and excited to see more!! Ya'll are good people and I love that y'all have some fun with what your doing! Keep on keepin' on!! ...from Wimberley Texas!!
The chemistry between you gut guess is great. Always in for a laugh with your videos, thanks.

That field looks perfect..and watching that planter preparing the soil bed for seed is very impressive ,,I'll look forward to a drive by at 10 mph..may planting season go well👍🏼👍🏼

Love it. You guys will be friends for life.
Happy Planting 😊!!! Continued Prayers! God Bless
Good job guys.
So cool to see you all giddy with excitement! Prayers for Nikki offered up daily . . . hang in there, Blondie!
You and John Deere technology amazing, I started planting with a John Deere 2 row planter, went to a (494) John Deere 4 row planter, thought we were a big deal, back in 1960.
Dougo is on a roll!!!
Been waiting for this video!!🚜
Depends on your soil temp.. love your vids keep them coming...
Hi Nikki, hope your feeling well. Stay strong.
Dougo, I'm sure that was a rabbit in the headlights moment i just witnessed. "Breath"🤪👍

Dam that first seed was deep I was waiting for the shovel to come out lol
Nice planter and tractor!!
Thanks for the video. This was a very interesting video with you setting the planter. Your new tractor seems to be real nice unit. From what you showed us in the video the planter settings are close to what you want. I think the hole outfit is real sweet. Nice tractor and planter overhaul have made the ticket. Would love a couple of rounds in that outfit. All of you have done a super job in getting ready for spring and things working as advertised. Super job. Thanks to Nicole for editing. Sending prayers to Nicole always. Trust you are doing ok and feeling better. We always think of you. May god watch over you. Thanks everyone. Iowa farm boy from years ago.
One helluva piece of equipment. Enjoyed the three of you in this video. Good luck on the oncoming season. Thanks for sharing. 🇺🇸
longer clip than 15 min would be appreciated, 20 would be ideal...
Higher than the current 1080p resolution .. just want to appreciate your work that much more
Cheers from Canada
There it is
Thank you guys! This disabled dude deals with discomfort and is getting ready to put hundreds of asparagus crowns in the ground and the guys are planting corn out here
🙏for Nikki
Come on full send!!!Dougo makes it look easy!
Impressionnant toute cette technologie embarquée et votre papa gère tout ça comme un chef, bravo👍👌
Glad to see you bringing her home for the night and put her in the shed. I never understood why farmers leave the equipment in the field.
Really cool camera work on the planter. Super awesome 👍
Love the sound effects you make😂
Grew up on a cotton/soybean farm. Moved to the city before I was able to help. You're giving me the childhood I missed. Thanks for that and what you do. Also, thanks dad for getting us the heck out of there!
Good Luck gentlemen. May the weather gods be kind and protect your crop. Really enjoy your video's. Stay safe..
You shall rise up with eagles wings and soar to heavenly heights. Be blessed for you are a beloved child of the most high God in whom he is well pleased.
That looks like a million dollar set up. Must be a joy to drive, compared to when Dougie started farming. Like the flags, new season of planting. God bless Larson farms, and God bless America.. oh yeah, Erick too.
Tik Tok, Instagram, You tube... What else??? Fun watching you guys get some work done!!
Just drive computers tell ya it's ok go go go guys 😆 thx for feeding us all god bless Nikki and 🇺🇸

Your videos are really interesting. Greetings from Poland
Thanks
rEALLY EXCELLENT VIDEO WORK CHET!!!
Wow, awesome operation. Thanks for sharing.
I am always amazed at the advances in agricultural equipment. Just to give you some perspective, when I started farming I had a JD 290 planter. Ground drive and a pull rope to lift with a ground drive lift clutch.
Hi Niki, prayers continue. Be safe guys and prayers for a bountiful year.
Set the gauge wheels all the way up and plant on top of the ground, that way no digging.. fill the outside 2 rows, make a few passes thru each other, then check ur overlap that way.
Praying for everything to go smooth with planting god bless everyone
Your farm has good soil.
Awesome Video as Always!!!
Great video. Doug, you are the coolest dad, boss, farmer, exec etc ever. I am so glad winter is over and we can all plant again. I don't look forward to hurricane season here in Louisiana!!!
What an awesome piece of machinery that whole rig is.
My dream planter to build would be on a 120' Bauer Bar, strip that thing down bare, put some Exact Emerge row units set up on 20" centers, make it a twin row (twin row 20's actually are a thing on DB60'S), extend the wings that fold up and down to the full length of the planter minus the center section and beef up the hydraulics that operate it, where the liquid tank would normally go (we don't use it being organic) mount a strong combine engine that powers hydro's, that power the tracks under the center section.
THEN create a roller crimper with delta force also that has a frame that goes up and over the planter to a connecting point on the planter. I can't even count how many row units you'd have to buy, but I figure it would take a combined horsepower of close to 2000 to plant into standing covers, and roll / crimp it at the same time.
Might as well make it mostly autonomous and create a docking station for a gator so you can get out and monitor the performance on the ground, then get back in the channel as you see fit.
Hell, build two of them so one operator can work them both at once.
Chet, Dougo, and big Swede all crammed into one little John Deere cab. Ooohhhh boy
I would love to have seen Dougo's reaction if one of them cut the cheese.
Good luck seeding and spraying your 2021 crops
Dougo was counting down the sleeps til he could try out that fancy new set up of his.
Great video. Nice setup. Planting is going to be awesome for you guys.
Great camera shots!
Great awesome video Chet , dougo and Eric, get well Nicole
We Love & Prey for (YOU) Nichole.
Ron &Susan in North Carolina
I always knew I liked them for some reason
Rows 12-24 are gona outperform the others with that fancy closing system
Yeeehaa a 5200!! I knew it when u trialled the first one. Well done, can't wait to see her in action. Does a great job....
We had a cold snap in Phoenix, Arizona, today it's a chilly 73°F right now. LOL! We were in the low 90°s a week ago.
Nice we are in the middle of winter wheat harvest here in california
Never seen a three-man tractor crew before. However, I wonder. If Dougo is the captain and the Big Swede the Science Officer and Engineer. Does that make Chet, Uhura? LOL.
Nice to see Douglas learning the new technology
Chet and Eric put your seat belts on nice video guys. I love the look of the tractor and planter.
