- Staten Island's Fresh Kills landfill is making sure New York City's trash doesn't go to waste. Brian Montopoli reports on how the facility is capturing methane gas created by the decomposing garbage and using it to power thousands of homes.
We can do the same with graveyards. Im just saying
a good story turning sewer gas from all that trash into fuel. Fresh Kills was an environmental waste dump in the 70s and since 9-11-01 it is closed and being reclaimed the gas removal process is part of that they did the same thing when Big Dig dumped all their sand at the Boston Land Field turning environmental disaster into environmental protection.

It probably would have been better to have a waste to energy station or two.
At least you're not cynical
I wish Oregon was doing something like that, using landfills for power. But I'd want to incinerate it for power, to put it crudely, have you heard of those projects?
Good; I like to see stories like this CBS, keep 'em coming. Moreover, for making me smile you, get a like button hit and a bro-hoof /).
