Thank you for this and your feedback on using this as a stepping stone. I'm new to Salesforce and appreciate people who support others coming into the space. I'm skilled on computers and some coding - not that I've done it but that I understand much of the terminology - but my own fear is holding me back. I think I am gaining confidence to dive in, and this as a stepping stone is helpful. Thank you for the free and paid resources.
Just completed your Udemy course. Thx for sharing your expertise. I feel prepared for the Associate exam! Love the Harry Potter references and you do a great job making it a comfortable pace.🎉
First of all- congrats! I am trying to transition into Admin; however, I thought it might be good to take this as well. Thank you for this video (and all of your videos)!!
Hi Emily, I failed Salesforce Sales Rep Exam. I plan to retake it. These are some questions which were part of the exam and I 'm seeking answers to them as I feel I may have answered them incorrectly. I posted some from my memory and I will post as I recall them. Appreciate the correct answers to the below: Q : A prospect is saying that there are internal changes in his organization and is hesitant to sign the deal. What would you do to make the offer invaluable? 1. Acknowledge concern and provide standard offer 2. Provide promotional discounts 3. Extend free trial Q: What lead should sales rep work on? 1. Sales Qualified 2. Info Qualified 3. Marketing Qualified Q: An existing customer after 6 months discovers an additional product that would be of use to them. What is this?
Hi Emily! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Salesforce Associate Certification process, and I hope all went well with the baby :) I'm in the process of taking your Udemy course for this exam. I don't currently plan to work directly in Salesforce, but I have seen Salesforce mentioned on a few of the job posts I have applied for, such as "How many years of Salesforce experience do you have?" So I thought this cert will be a nice entry point into knowledge of the Salesforce platform. Are there direct benefits of this cert to someone in my field, software testing & quality assurance?
Hi, I am very nervous. I just finished taking your Sales Associate course and took the practice exam passed in 3 tries. 😅 Wonder how close the questions will be on the actual exam? any tips?
You've got this! The questions are pretty close to those on the actual exam. Most people have found our test to be slightly harder than the actual exam. Take your time and if you aren't sure on a question then try to use the process of elimination!
With the associate it really depends on the job market and where you’re based. The associate exam isn’t really tied to any job title like the administrator exam is. But some common jobs that you would likely see with an associate certification could be sales operations analyst or revenue operations analyst. I would reference the salaries of those positions in your area.
I bought your course in April passed the associate exam with your course and Trailhead. Thanks for your help, moving on to the Admin!
Way to go!

I'm already a certified admin, How is easy will this exam be with one week of preparation?
Pretty easy! If I were you, I would go through the trailmix, check out some free practice exams and that will be more than enough!
@@salesforceemily Thank you
What is the starting salary for someone certified with this certificate?

congratulations on your pregnancy
