You can tell Wiz genuinely enjoyed this interview and the memories that came back to him from this. It also brought me memories because I’ve been following and listening to Wiz on a daily basis for so long. I’ve messaged him so many times on the subject that I want a Mac and Dev go to college. Some ppl say they are too old but Wiz and Snoop are so talented that they can do anything when they want to! Shout out to Talib for doing this interview because I feel like I was living through him with the questions he asked and knowledge he had about Wiz.
Wiz was intregal to my development through highschool. I was a fan of him when i was downloading mixtapes from datpiff and i found so many artist that way. I remember my first two mixtapes i got from wiz was Flight School and Star Power. This is around the time i was starting to smoke weed, and back then Colorado was transitioning to medical grade weed before the full recreational weed got passed, yet they still had reggie grade in the streets too. So it was insane time to listen to wiz and most of my friends didnt listen to him until i showed them. This was about a year right before kush and orange juice dropped and i knew then he was gonna blow up as an artist. I love that he has the longevity and honestly Wiz khalifa's mixtapes are on par with Curren$y's and lil waynes in terms of volume and style variation. Wiz khalifa may have made the highest quality mixtapes of all time. Much respect to the legend and everything he contributed to the game.
