In this video, I walk through using Wondercraft to make a short daily AI news podcast. I just add a few article links, set some options like length and voice, and Wondercraft's AI generates an entire podcast episode script! 🤖
Then with one click it produces the full audio track complete with music - completely automated podcast creation!
I'm impressed with how quick and simple it is. I can see myself using this to really streamline my workflow and scale up my podcast output.

Awesome vid Mike. Appreciate it. I have wanted to get into some podcasting, but definitely did not want to invest insane time coming up with scripts, etc. and this tool seems like it can do a lot. If you see others similar that maybe allow more hours to record, etc. post a vid. Also, just finding your channel, so not sure if you have any vids on some of the best ways to get our podcast out to an audience like on Apple, etc. Whatever barrier of entry cost wise you recommend is appreciated to all us followers. Thank you! Wondercraft is great but I stick with my own automation process as I’ve invested so much time into it. I also enjoy making improvements and having full control over the workflow. Saying that Wondercraft would be great for someone who wants automatic podcasting without all the code/automation involved.
@@MikeRussell I just watched that other video and this seems way less complicated/less work for the exact same result lol. Also with all the tools required in your other method it seems you are spending a bunch to create the same thing Wondercraft can (Make subscription, 11labs, soundcloud, etc). assuming WC uploads your podcasts for you now (not sure)
actually i am interested because most of my listeners are in new york and, since i'm french, i cannot speck english enough fluently to host a news podcast myself.
Voice clone will be the way to go. It'll allow you to speak all the languages fluently.
Very interesting video. This looks like a very interesting tool. But let me ask this: what advantage does Wondercraft have over a process where you simply ask ChapGPT to "create a podcast script" by summarizing the key points in the three articles and then copying and pasting that script into Elevenlabs and having it create the audio?

After it automatically generates the script based on your links, are you able to edit that script and perhaps add your own comments and discussion as well? And will it then read those along with the rest of this script?

No, Wondercraft is a different AI tool focused on quickly generating podcast episodes while Descript is more of a comprehensive audio editing and transcription software.

Yeah, I've not dived that deep yet but I believe the script generated turns into an editor allowing you to add music/jingles/sfx so I think you could do this.

This sucks. We need more thoughtful human generated content - not more AI garbage. I like watching and listening to YOU - but I’m going to be more and more wary of you as time goes on because I won’t know if it’s you, or an AI generated copy. And yes…that matters.

Although incredible, i feel that people putting their personal effort in gathering info and presenting, makes the info more valuable, since someone had taken time to inform me.
Being informed by a computer makes me feel less important, or less valued by the publisher.

Voice actors need to look elsewhere NOW - need to accept the change and befriend it rather than fight it - Is that a U87 AI you have in front of you ?
Fair point but cloning your voice can give you a unique asset if you hang on to it and yep I’m on a U87!
