We have. X5 m60i with the v8 and we get 20.6 in town only 700 miles on ours right now. Very happy with the power and better mpg than our v6 genesis we t
The BMW will change lanes for you. I believe the reason it does not for you is due to the “frozen” paint selection. According to a forum post I read recently as I was weighing pros and cons of frozen paints, BMW disables the side radars as the paint has not been certified by BMW to ensure the frozen paint does not interfere with their operation. That con immediately ruled out the frozen paint for me.
It would be great to mention what type of tires and their dimensions because bigger and wider wheels have an impact on the fuel economy of the car. And also the mileage of the car because an engine with 5000miles will be "better" broken in than a 1000miles one.
@@Eugen-E hmm then why have all the early Tundra and Sequoia reviewers gotten horrible MPG? I thought when the parts were not conditioned to run together it would require more fuel to make power
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 Because people are stupid and don't realize that cars should be compared in equal conditions. The new 3.4 twin turbo V6 is way more efficient than the old 5.7L + the new one is quicker.
That climate menu looks a chore to have to scroll through. Who in their right mind thought that this garbage is better than normal mechanical switches?
The climate control isn't that bad, there's an option for auto, just 1 selection on the left. It looks like a lot, but thats cause it has heated steering wheel, heated seats, air cooled seats and then separate selections for passenger. It's nice to have extra features. Can't complain
Massive vehicle, massive power from that motor... 23 MPG?!?!?! BMW are wizards.
When a turbo V8 gets similar MPG to mainstream vehicles with naturally aspirated V6s, you can't help but be in awe

Great review Chris. I agree. The climate screen is overkill. Good MPG for a V8.

thats an incredible achievement for this car.
Is the m50i model should be similar right, I would guess one less mpg or about the same
Yeah I agree.
Where was the testing done?
Bro plzz test mpg of lexus lx600

Fuel consumption is worse on new engines....

That's not bad gas mileage for that type of vehicle. I expected worse
