Honestly I didn't liked the trailer because I was expecting another main character rather than Ciri as I said to my friends Witcher 3 probably will be my last and only Witcher game I played. Currently waiting for 2 mod for Witcher 3 after this I'll play Witcher 3 a while (probably it will be my last run) then we will see.
@ At least am not alone who didn’t like the trailer. I thought they would make some new Witcher character not Ciri , but I’ll give it a chance, if it’s gonna be good. I hope Geralt will make an appearance and will be at least for a one quest playable.
@@MasterKing-25 Hm, whilst I get that, I think that going with Ciri opens up a lot of new ways to play and structure the game without trying to make another Geralt (which is what they would essentially be doing if they made a brand new regular witcher guy). Ciri being a child of elder blood will allow new things without breaking the lore, and will also give us new avenues of training, like Kaer Morhen and the Lodge, and even exploring different worlds like we did with Geralt in the DLC. Everything from the potions and the spells she can do are things that can be innovated on within lore. I would also say, Geralt becomes even more includable in the story if Ciri is the protagonist because they were very close. I think this is a great way to make a new game whilst also being the 4th installment. Geralt is The Last of Us 2 with Joel remaining alive

I take it that we can all agree that this ending in Witcher 3 is now officially canon after seeing the Witcher 4 trailer.
I'm happy to see Ciri back in Witcher 4's trailer. Ignoring the controversy around it, i'm just grateful there's more witcher content and lore coming

Agreed Geralt will be in the game thats confirmed by CDPR but don't know if he will be playable character.
