- Second James Worthy highlights sample. This one includes highlights from his rookie and sophomore games and a few more I happened to have on my HDD. The project is still far from completion as I am yet to redo the entire 89 season video that I already uploaded (for better quality) and I still didn't collect the footage that I need.
Anyways, enjoy! :)

The low post game is such a lost art among small forwards in the NBA today. Worthy's quickness, footwork and coordination was amazing.
Agreed. It's the fundamentals that've been lost.
Everytime Worthy was guarded, in the low post, with his back to the rim, his opponent would be schooled. His unbeliavable speed, along with one of the best footwork in the hisyory of the game, made him impossible to guard. Like Riley said, in his prime no one coud touch James Worthy. Absolutely unstopable.
james worthy is one of my favorite players of all time.
Mine too
Loved his game.
He just got the ball and shot or took a drive.
No messing around, no waiting and wasting time.
Its ridiculous how good Big Game James was with both hands, like he's ambidextrous. How do you stop him? Answer: you don't. ;}
"Slim and none" Chick Hearn
Worthy's post up moves were sweet!
Greatest small forward ever. Drop step move is amazing
It was fastest step ever
Watching this again, and man, @3:30... that wasn't even catching Bird napping, that was straight speed going around the legend like Bird was a statue and dunkin' it. o.O
Dang Worthy basically said at 1:57 seconds "Terry Cummings you can't jump with me"!
@3:26 i loved that play, Worthy in fast break against Boston can spin the ball over big arms Mchale...

Such a lunch pale type of guy, not all the hot dog and pomp just amazing player to watch, he's solely respiratory for two if Showtime's chips in the eighties.
Truely Great Gastonia knows that.
I aint saying he is the best power forward but folks be forgetting how good he wss
Insane ball control

That's Why He's Called That First Step Statue Of Liberty Slamdunk Big Game James Worthy...Yep...Yep...One Love Fam.
Once that hand went up...
So fucking smooth.
Those was my Lakers
How in the hell you guard a guy that fast, with that footwork who can make a jumper and beat you with both hands. What a player! We won't see a small forward like that in today's NBA.
