    Brave woman. Courageous of her to kick all that. Truly heroic of her to come out with all that, because all of that is for all of us. She's telling us for those who may go through some of it, so we can have hope that their is a way through. Also, it shows how talented she is. To be that creative, even under Al that cicumstance.

    I appreciate her honesty; divulging that she takes the tequila shot before going onstage and her whole past drug history and recovery.
    But she rarely smiles and I sense a real sadness about her. She seems muted.

    Oh my goodness, forgot to thank you. So thank you so much for putting this on u tube. Very inspiring. I think even if our struggles may be different. Even if we are not a big time rock and roll star. It's still about what a person can over come, it's about courage for me. Love Stevie Nicks and I love Fleetwood Mac!

    We all have done things we're not proud of and I"m glad she's free from all of that. Much love from a 35yr old fan. I've never used any hard drugs, nver dsired to. Did try marijuana once at 18. I honestly get high off of music. Good music gives me a euphoric high.

      I take it for anxiety and don't see how you could get addicted to it. Then again it does calm you down quite a bit. But either way I wouldn't be right without it.

    I have taken very low doses of Xanax and now I’m am taking Clonazepam or Klonopin - I get .25 mgs. of this drug for my anxiety. Somedays I take 1/2 tablet. Everyone is so different and so it’s so hard to find out what’s right for each person. I was having a lot of stress - my Mom died when she was 48 - I found her after I left our house (I was living with her) for 1-1/2 hours. She got my son who was 7 months old ready for bed and then had a Heart Attack and died. Between that and now having to raise my son alone - I had crazy panic attacks and they are horrible - I felt like I was dying everytime I had one. This anti-anxiety drug really helps me - but I do and have only taken a very low dose.
    I always say that it’s my little pill that gets me thru the day!!!!
    God Bless You Stevie Nicks!!! We saw you in Salt Lake last August!!!! You were awesome!!!!! 🫶🏻💜

    Does anyone else see something come out from the upper left corner of the shot between 1:35-1:41? I don't know what it is, but I've watched the whole show over and over many times watching to see if it happens at any other time or what it could be but I can't explain it?

  • @michelle88960

    Shit. Is Klonopin the same as Valium? I've been getting prescribed Valium/Diazepam for 3 years.

    • @humanbein9415
      @humanbein9415 8 років тому

      +michelle88960 Valium is a type of "Benzo" same as Xanax, Ativan, Serax. and others in that category, and is highly addictive. Does not take long at all to find yourself addicted. Klonopin is by far one of the most dangerous though. As Stevie has stated. Even if you are prescribed any of these you really should not be taking them on a daily basis. Not no way, not no how! Whatever you have, 2mg, 5mg., or 10. Like anything the more you take it the more you need to take to feel the benefit. I have so many people I know that developed a problem, taking handfuls of pills a day. What was a band-aid soon became another big wound of itself. Just use as needed not everyday. if you do, you got a problem. Be careful. Best to you.

    • @michelle88960
      @michelle88960 8 років тому

      Human Bein' Thank you.I'm definitely going to start cutting down gradually.I've been taking three 10mg every day for 3 years. I can relate to what she says about it taking away your soul. It might sound a bit melodramatic, but I just isolate myself, and have no interest in anything or anybody.

    • @humanbein9415
      @humanbein9415 8 років тому

      +michelle88960 Yes. that's the exact opposite of what it is intended to do for you. It is meant to relieve stress. Sometimes to help with insomnia. I've even seen it prescribed to help people quit smoking. There are Dr.'s that play it fast and loose with prescription drugs at times. I hope you won't hesitate to reach out for help if you need it. There are many programs available these days. Even if you just need to talk to someone. Again be careful. All the best to you Michelle.

    • @michelle88960
      @michelle88960 8 років тому

      Human Bein' Thank you so much. It was initially prescribed for anxiety.But I'm like a zombie, nothing affects me, I can't cry, which may seem a strange thing to want to do, but I have had close friends that have died, among other things, and I'm unable to shed a tear. Plus I'm also on 60mg of Prozac a day!
      But I'm going to gradually cut down and go and see a counsellor. There's no point going to my doctor he will probably just give me some more or another Benzo. Thanks again.

    • @interstategar
      @interstategar 8 років тому +1

      +michelle88960 All doctors know how to do is prescribe drugs. I have high blood pressure and complained about the side affects. All he did is keep me on the same drug but reduced the dose. I still had side affects that I didn't want to deal with. I went to a different doctor and it turns out I was taking a medicine that is given to people who already had a stroke or a heart attack. So some doctors don;t even know what to prescribe. In your case if you are anxious, its most likely caused by something that happened to you and NO DRUG will cure it. So your right to confront whatever is making you anxious and free yourself that way. You weren't born swallowing pills everyday. You were born in a good working order- a fined tuned working machine. Always remember that.

    I was never into recreational drugs. I have been on Klonopin for 26 years, my first presc. meds. I started with 2mg and now am on 4mg. This drug was prescribed for a serious post-partum anxiety depression. This drug and an anti-depressant saved my sanity and gave me back my life. I wonder what dose you were on Stevie? Did you abuse it? I have led a very active productive, creative life, raising 3 children, working, and going to college. I adore you and your music, but please don't go giving Medical Advice to others, My Medical Advice to you is don't do Recreational Drugs. I respect you, but it is personal....I don't want to be on meds, but try having a Severe Anxiety Disorder.....

      She didn't take it recreationally. As she says in the video, she took it as prescribed and hit tolerance on it which happened to me too. It's when you have to keep increasing the dose over and over again to achieve the same effect. Eventually it becomes paradoxical. I lost 20 years of my life sick on the drug. It caused an iatrogenic brain injury and I'm disabled because of it. I hope this video helps give other psychiatric survivors courage to tell their stories of how benzodiazepines harmed them because we are often told to stop telling our stories.

      Taking Klonopin is the problem for some people.Its not a drug that is even supposed to be taken for longer than a couple weeks and there is a reason for that and the damage after you stop the drug can continue for years.It happened to me after i cold turkeyed it and am still having issues two years later and yes i took my dose as prescribed and even less than i was supposed to.After being on it for a few years,I gained massive weight,became more depressed,lacked energy,and all i wanted to do was sit at home and eat

      GINA MICHELLE HOLLIN - I wonder how things will unfold for Stevie over the next several years. The "shelf life" for a rock singer that is age 70 is precarious at best. She gave up family life for a career in the spotlight. A career in acting has infinite possibility. Fronting a pop/rock band? A totally different scenario.

    • @oceanhedonist265
      @oceanhedonist265 5 років тому +2

      I have to assume that the latest version of Fleetwood Mac will be the last. All 4 of the core members are in their 70's. Aging is a cruel reality for rock stars. Blues singers, jazz musicians, actors, writers and painters can endure for an infinite amount of time. Rock n Roll Is the art of youth. I have a hard time believing that Stevie Nicks is going to be on a stage twirling and singing her songs a few years from now. She has other options such as stage and screen. Her life seems strangely similar to women like Greta Garbo.

    • @ginamichelle4466
      @ginamichelle4466 5 років тому +4

      @@oceanhedonist265 I'm not sure but I feel sad for her as much as I am upset with her for what she's done to Lindsey. I pray she never feels like she made the wrong decision by putting career first. It's gonna hit hard If she does at her age. She did talk about her next step being her art work. Guess we will see.

    • @oceanhedonist265
      @oceanhedonist265 5 років тому +2

      GINA MICHELLE HOLLIN - Art and publishing her poetry are always on the table, but i think that Stevie likes being in the spotlight. Maybe visual arts such as TV and movie roles would be a good direction for her to take.
      Yeah, the situation with Lindsey is ugly. Those 2 people go back over 50 years. No good reason not to reconcile in some way.

    • @kennymilne6125

      I couldn't agree with you more , I have read so much and listened to so much about what happened and it was Stevie who wanted him out, the fact is if it wasn't for LB she wouldn't have the career he's had , he wouldn't join FM without her , I don't think very much of her now to be honest
