Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It isn't so bad tbh. I think the biggest expense I ran into is food. If you wanna eat good it's gonna cost much more than it would to eat good in a place like Philippines or Japan. That being said you can find cheap stuff, it's just gonna taste cheap is all lol.
Bruce, we live here in Korea. Like Cody said, it’s not like SE Asia prices. Compared to the USA, an awesome Korean pork BBQ meal here can cost ~$30/2 people. My experience in the States is the same meal will be closer to $70-$100. What is cheap here and you can live off of it is the street food and the the food at the convenience stores like 7-11, CU, GS24. And the food at those stores is ready to eat and fresh daily. Groceries are western prices unless you get veges/fruits in season. Beer/pop is a bit cheeper. Many cities you can find a nice 1br1bath apt for ~$300/mo not including utilities/wifi. Cell service ~$50/mo. Transportation is awesome with inexpensive busses between cities. Low cost train system between major and minor cities. Once in a city, busses are very inexpensive and taxis are reasonable. Best part is flights to SE Asia and Asia are very reasonable, eg RT from Seoul/Incheon to PI for ~$150 are common. If you rent a car in Korea, prices are also reasonable and Korea is very easy to drive around. You could spend a decade in this tiny country and not see it all.
@@Usatorok Thanks for this, I thought as much, but like Japan up until about 15 years ago the perception was that it was very expensive. Thanks very much for your reply.
Dude, you need to get more views of this video. Your entertainment value is worth watching. Great job. We also find a lot of Korean signs that lead you and then don’t complete the job. 😂 Thanks! New sub. Can’t wait to see more of your videos since this is the first.
Thank you so much for watching! Yeah my channel was all about Philippines for over 5 years so I am still trying to find an audience for these Korea videos since my old subscribers don't seem interested 😅
I need to come back here in the evening someday. I bet the food is 🤤
Awesome intro 🙌🏻
🎉 thank you! 🎉
Thanks for sharing cody 👍🏼

Cody loving the new travel vlogs from Korea. Tell me though, is Korea expensive?
