@@toytacambery9427 no i finished all the soul game prior to elden ring. this particular puzzle is just bullshit and it's not just me but a general consensus from what i've seen. people love to say "skill issue" whenever someone accuses a souls game of a design flaw.
Skip still works in patch 1.13 Some tips to get through: 1. If you're using a controller, turn the left joystick sharp to the left the exact moment you input the jump button a second time to do the double jump 2. Practice the timing on flat land a few times so you get the hang of the motion and don't have to reset the jump a bunch of times 3. Relax and be confident!
Honestly this is taking me longer than it would to just do the Evergaol but now I feel obligated to keep trying at this point. Honestly though I hate how effortless everyone else makes it look

I use unseen form after lighting the 3rd fire. I can almost make it to the roof where the last lamp is before the left albinauric archer starts shooting. The right one doesn't shoot at all cuz of the spell's effect

Just did it. You have to point your camera one line away from east on the compass and line your character up on the pole thing along the stair railing. Get on torrent and then move forward in that direction and double jump then quickly make a sharp left turn. You should slide down into the other side of the doorway via the invisible geometry. Hope this helps.

Never needed to skip. I just use the lions great bow knocks those little bastards off or if you have the gold of Gransax has crazy range and knocks them off making this area much easier.

Ty for making this video. However for me it didn't work, I tried and failed, realizing that It's faster to do it as supposed to. I'd like to share my tactic which took me couple of minutes to finish without hassle.. left hand equip sentry torch , right hand staff of your choosing, use Unseen form so archers won't see you unless you come close to them. Once in kissing range you can kill them. Torch put on your back, you'll still be able to see assassins before they see you. Two hand your trusty stick and keep reapplying Unseen form it last around 30 sec. It won't break if you climb ladders or interact with stuff. Like this it will take you 5 min or less, depends if you remember where statues are. Far less than failing over and over like me. SMH. Good luck! Unseen form require 16 intellect

It's been sooo long since I've done it. If I remember right trying to sprint messed me up. As long as you get the timing on the jumps I don't think you need to sprint. Hope you get it!!

i can't light the candles? that option disappear entirely. and can't do that jump. it's too tricky from keyboard
