I wanted to check out some of Antonio Guitars creations for quite some time now. After he modified a 76 LP Custom to look like James Hetfield’s Iron Cross I had my eye on Augustin’s guitar making. I got two of his latest guitars specially ordered by his customers. In the future I cant wait to check out his personal unique designs.

When I have plenty of cash, I would love to have a custom made guitar. I just came across his site and looked up some of his work and like I said earlier I would love to have one of these replicas or even a custom made one myself.

Man, you have some great guitars on your channel. If money was no object I'd get him to make me a black MX-250 with dot inlays. Having said that, I'd never spend that much money on a guitar. I've had guitars in the past that I'm scared to play and that's no fun.
Eventually you will get over that fear and start enjoying yourself 🤘🏻
Great review, I have the exact same thoughts as you, they look great, real craftman ship and they probaly play great too. But, Its just not the ‘real’ thing. With that being said, the way he customizes a les paul to a iron cross is beyond this world. Nothing to add, i totally agree with you, if I Would buy a guitar from him, i Would go for his original designs and not this.

Hey man, great review as always. Those Antonio Guitars have caught my eye for a long time. Im interested in getting a new high end guitar, but im in the middle between an Esp Snakebyte or one Antonio. How would you compare this guitar to one of your previous Snakebytes? 🔥🔥🔥
If you choose a natural finish, not solid colour and you ad your own personal touches in the desighn - Antonio all the way. I sold my ESP Snakebyte long time ago. I am not a fan.
Great review and I envy you for having the chance to get these guitars. For a Metallica fan like me, I wouldn't have any issue getting a "homage" guitar. Notice I used the word "homage" to avoid the word you used haha. But as you mentioned, other (and famous) guitar manufacturers have copied others' designs. I mean how many Strat-type or LP-type guitars we see in the market? Countless. See what Harley Benton does. If ESP/LTD won't release an MX model again then people would look somewhere else. I like the original MX200 shape more than the current Snakebite one. It depends also on the price. Again, if ESP produced, for example an LTD MX-200 for, let's say USD$1500 then I'd save Antonio the trouble. But, if you can only find an original ESP MX-200 and it costs up to (I have no idea), let's say USD$20K then if you can get the Antonio equivalent for a 5th of the price then it's tempting. I would love to have that guitar as closest to the original, cause I'm a fan. Yes, if I was rich, I would also buy him a custom original one to help him show his creativity and help him in general, as a passionate luthier. I guess it depends on your possibilities ($$$), and how big a fan you are.

(8:46) am i wrong or are the bridge post mounting studs completely missing? the threaded part that gets pressed into the body. it looks like the post was threaded right into the wood? love the headstock shape and everything else. 10 lbs?? thats pretty sick too. your sound in the video is pretty massive as well.
To be honest I am not really sure, maybe it was right into the wood
that's an ABR Style bridge.
How can you buy from him anyway? There's no "add to cart" or "buy now" option on his website, I guess for copyright reasons maybe?
These are not mass produced. Most small guitar makers work with personal contact. You have the option to make a guitar the way you want it. "Add to cart" is limiting you choice. Contact him trough the form in the website and let him know what you want.
