Historical description: "the great mosque of paris" was built from 1922 to 1926 by the architects Robert Fournez, Maurice Mantout and Charles Heubès, according to the plans of Maurice Tranchant de Lunel, Inspector General of Fine Arts in Morocco, who was inspired by the mosques of Fes. The renovation of this building was carried out by a French company which called on craftsmen from Fez in 2015.
