In September of 2010 I turn 60 years old. On Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving 2010 I bought my first Harley-Davidson.
At 73 years old I am still riding that old Harley and have no plans to quit.

My wife and I along with 4 friends did a 4700 mile trip last September each on our own bikes. My wife and I were 68 at the time and the others ranged from 61 to 72. No need to stop riding. You have more time to enjoy it once you are retired..

Hang in there because what we think something is going to be like usually is nowhere close to what we expected. I made the transition to 60 seventeen years ago. The main thing we have to remember is that every new age brings on the fact that we move a little slower than before, we gradually find out the things that we did before are not as easy as they once were and the brain functions are a little bit slower. My Mom passed in 2007 just 5 months shy of her 97th birthday. I sure hope that I have the benefit of her genes. I would like to live long enough to be a burden to my great-grandchildren. I hope tomorrow is the beginning of a long string of each future birthday being a little bit better than the last one. HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY and the start of happiness, good health, and physical abilities increasing with each year. Best Wishes, Holise = pronounced hah liss.

I was on a podcast that was very popular in the early 2000s but it was just too much at the time. I did meet some interesting people. Harley’s love colder weather. They don’t like the Texas heat as all.
