Heyo, SOuthern Louisianaian here. Actual cajun, been boiling and eating crawfish my whole life. Get yall some of this Zatarains for next time. Boil your veggies in it first, pull them and then crawfish. Let em go about 5ish minutes, then let em sit in the water about 10-15 and theyll soak oup all that flavor. No chicken stock. Water and seasonings only.
Make your own, and have Louisiana-style boiled shrimp, crabs or crawfish anytime. Works well with any kind of shellfish. • 4 tablespoons yellow mustard seeds • 3 tablespoons coriander seeds • 2 tablespoons whole allspice • 2 tablespoons dill seeds • 1 teaspoon whole cloves • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper • 8 bay leaves • Salt and cayenne pepper (or liquid hot sauce) to taste Just make sure you don't get it near your face and inhale, or you'll be sneezing uncontrollably for several minutes!
Next time lads let them sit in the pot with the juices and put the pot in the river for them to cool off they will sick more flavour into the flesh, love the vids lee and tony keep up the solid work
Boil seasoning 5 minutes, add crawdads bring to a boil and boil 7 minutes then add cold water or ice to cool boil down quick and they will suck up juices. Cool down temp should only be enough to change temperature 20c to 30c degrees cooler .
Loving the content since I found yall almost 2 weeks ago I've been trying to watch all your videos even the Olds one and I'm hooked thank you for your time
Hit it out the park again lads, the old boil up is a beautiful thing, i would just switch ya spices for some Old Bay spice its the bomb, i forgot i had a few jars of the stuff when I did my marron cookups this year Doh!! Just wanted to add too love the little quotes at the end of each vid really is perfect way to end ya vids. Peace dudes and be well.
Bet that's home grown corn. Last video I think I knocked the shit out of the american style boilup,....but I might have to eat my words (can't eat what you just knocked up cos it's gone). That looked bloody good, eh. Cheers Lee. Might be hearing a yabby song on the radio tomorrow
Texas Crawfish Boil: potatoes, cut up lemons, cut chunks of kielbasa, onion chunks and corn cobs go in the pot with water, chicken bullion, beer, dill, cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning. Boil about 20 min or until potato is cooked. Add crawdads and a bunch of Texas Pete hot sauce and cook about 5 minutes or until crawdads are cooked. If desired tomato juice can be substituted for chicken stock.
Damn you two guys... Was lying in bed not really wanting to get up and watched the video. Now my stomach tells me to get up. Feels like I could eat a donkey sandwiched in between a couple of rhinos.... my belly alarm clock went off the scales and the dog went hiding....

Like ur videos. But those are crawfish crayfish or crawdads in American. Lobster is a big red one here dark before cooked tho.
They are Gilgies not Yabbys or Freshwater Crayfish, Crawfish, Crawdad. just saying

You forgot the okra.
What is a yabby
Those "mudbugs" are too small to eat..In Lousiana you'd go to prison. Just sayin".
That boiling water would made at real nice soup or hot sauce.
Sorry boy's
We ozzie not yanks .
Boiled be fine
Gonna be a bit boring if we just boil em every time 😂
@@BushRats you got green shit to go with them lol
Hi, I'm in the UK and just did a search on Google for crayfish and they are £25 Stirling for 6 so i won't be buying them.
And I thought $4.99 a pound already boiled was high.
