2nd man press is the secret tool for defence if you use it properly … specially In midfield and on wings … if you second man press with your defenders ,,, then not even god can save you lol

My problem is when I’m controlling my midfielders to come back the back four automatically lose their shape and open a gap for the opponent. The problem is getting the midfield to defend
I just need to win a header in my own box.. I can win headers everywhere else on the pitch. I get into a good position and do nothing - tried different timing and using L2 etc,. I have the same issue with any kind of cut out - I find a good position and somehow give it up

There is no skill gap in this game, elite DV player here and i tell you, all the players i face run 71 depth and second man press you while they drop back ... Literally it's all AI doing work, all u gotta do is keep the 4-4-2 shape and don't commit

He forgot to tell the part where u have to spend fifa pósito good connection to be able to change with your stick where you want to chacha and not a random spot. Whiche only works if u spend fifa points this game is not football

It's weird that people have been making videos about this for a decade when the game is scripted, so it never matters. And the number of times I refuse to switch to a defender because they are either walking or just standing there and not attempting to play defense, I just let the game score their scripted goal and quit. It's not worth the headache, it's why I went from playing the game regularly to playing once a month at best. The gameplay is shite with or without scripting
I agree it’s not the best fifa game but the scripting part is more due too delay playing away games making your players heavy = your opponent can score easily anytime … games also feel different due too connection some people adapt better then others

When a player tries to cut in you use second man press and with the active player you defend the player in the box where he coule pass to + combined with double r1 tap to cover all players

Stop taking your defenders out constantly of position use right stick on midfielders and run back , Do not rush too take the ball back as it opens up space/passing lanes for opponents too exploit .. switching too a 5 back after 75+ if your winning helps me get those 16+ wins too , do not rush with the 5 back formation too attack your winning he has too get the ball off you so wait till he presses and makes mistakes
