I think what a lot of people forget about Purp is that he beef’d with a kid named Lil Shark. In Drake's case, I think there's nothing wrong with collaborating with younger artists on a level, because it can be sooo powerful and inspiring for those younger artists to be able to collaborate with such an artist on Drake's level, with his status as an icon and a pioneer. And fans eat that sh-- up when an older rap legend proves that they can still fit in and spit with the young pups. However, and I'm sure everyone can see where I'm going with this, when you take it to Drake's level, it's like you make it the backbone of your entire ability to survive as a rapper once your age "falls out of favor" from the mainstream, and it's indicative of a midlife crisis, and all it does is make us exponentially more afraid of turning 30 let alone actually grow old
