Most polyglot youtubers would *not* leave the bit in where you told the Russian girl that you didn't understand the Russian verb 'to recommend' ... hat's off to you, Ryan, for keeping your language learning journey real !
I love your videos Ryan. You are such a great ambassador of friendship and camaraderie for the USA. So refreshing to see your interaction with these young people around the world. 😅❤ keep up your great efforts!
The interaction with the Chinese soldier was awesome. Just goes to show we're all just humans. It's our governments that make us distrust or dislike each other!
Next time someone asks you "What's your job?" Just tell them "My job is to take that most precious of gifts you give me. Your attention". Lol, one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite movies 😁
Pick-up artists: If you want to meet girls, you need to have some stories ready, learn how to playfully "neg" them, get them talking about themselves, etc. Ryan: Nah. You ain't gotta do all that. Just learn to speak 10 languages, bro.
If you want to instantly gain respect and friends in another country you don't even have to be fluent. Literally just trying your best they will correct you and help you learn and form a connection. I love this content and it makes me really want to try to learn other languages, basically all the languages Ryan already is learning are ones I want to know.
Yo ryan, not trying to be intrusive but i hope everything's alright with you and indah, i was honestly sad because you guys did not meet due to some reason when you went in bali few months ago, i anyway just wish to see more Collab content from you guys coz its really fun watching you 2 together and, Love ur content bro, always cool to see ur vidoes, i myself want to learn japanese korean french and Spanish but stopped because few irl things, but watching you always morivates me to keep going
Good video Ryan! I know I sound like a broken record, but it's true. Wish I had learned other languages, but that's not my forte. At 74, it's a pleasure to watch someone with your talent.
It really is never too late. Sure, a talent for language makes it come more easily, but it's possible to learn at any age. I teach people English online, and a number of my students are over 50. All it takes is some inspiration and will-power and you can learn anything. :)
It's not too late even at 74, there are so many resources on the Internet nowadays so you can definitely learn. Maybe get a teacher, or just watch UA-cam videos, watch movies/shows in your target language. The barrier to entry for language learning is very low nowadays and that's a good thing.
Seeing that Chinese soldier really puts a perspective on where we are at in society. The people don’t want to fight, we don’t want war. We want friends and lovers and community and to connect with the world. The leaders of these empires are making ww3. Dont support the game, support each other 🙏🏻
"The people don’t want to fight" Oh, I assure you, there are more than enough testosterone filled meat heads that want to play dress up in tactical gear and wave rifles at people different than them.
@@jbram63 yes. The older I get the younger these soldiers seem. I have a rule, unless I’m being invaded, I will not fight. Tell me to go somewhere and act like an empire? Pound sand ,I’m moving into the woods.
My boy finally know the 21 reference, I had second hand embarrassment last time when I realised he didn’t get the 21 reference joke from that Chinese girl 😂😂😂
Ryan, I really love these videos. Learning a language is such a great way to build cultural bridges. I've been learning Korean for a decent while now, and your videos have confirmed for me that I definitely want to pursue more languages after I have a comfortable grasp of Korean. I often find that even though Spanish and Chinese are more "useful" in the modern world I'm drawn to slightly more obscure languages like Mongolian and Georgian, so I'm probably going to be building very niche cultural bridges when I get there LOL. Thanks for the inspiration :)
Your Russian is really coming along! It wasn't long ago you were saying "Cool" and "Potato." 😂😂 Watching these videos reminds me I need to get my Spanish going again.
whenever i watch yt polyglot videos like these i feel warm and happy, but also sad. humans by nature just want to be connected and kind to one another, but our leaders and all of these imaginary national boundaries separate us and make our countries enemies 😞

I couldn't agree more. The governments do more harm than good.
these videos are so fun , I love your content bro!
Another great video Ryan, always love seeing what new content you've put out, new faces & especially new reactions.
Its nice to see you talking longer to people .. and Indoneisian people seem really friendly
Ryan: "Clearly you already know who I am?"
If they said Xiaoma I was going to die laughing.

Wow, I feel like this is the best display of Ryan's Russian we've seen, and it's really good! The accent especially sounds great.
Thank you! 😃

Good conversations with people! They were shocked when you spoke their languages!
Hi Ryan! I am very excited at every one of your videos. I hope you could make a video with another multilingual guy like Kazu or another one.

Tale as old as time. Christmas in WWII had soldiers from both sides celebrating and playing soccer for a day. Then orders were given to keep fighting.
