I actually refer back to this clip, as a tech entrepreneur, of what NOT to do as a leader. At 2:50... when he essentially says, this is my show and I'm going to do what I want... the lesson here is that if you EVER have to fall back on your rank/position in order to advance an idea you've lost. One of the things that made Hue so bad a leader is he failed to understand the value of consensus building, and arriving at conclusions as a group; instead he saw his position as head coach through an authoritarian lens, as demonstrated here. The problem is you need people to execute in order to be a successful leader, and people don't execute when they're not bought in.
I've personally made this mistake hundreds of times as a CEO and this video proves that leadership - regardless of whether its a tech company, a football team, a non-profit - requires understanding how to communicate and motivate. What you're seeing here is a monumentally bad leader. And monumentally bad leaders fail to execute and get fired.

In the meantime, if you see problems or issues popping up, my door is wide open." Instead he starts condescending to everyone like a jackass.

Just read the ESPN report on the Browns and the hiring of Hue Jackson. Jimmy Haslam overrode his own brass who voted 4-1 (Haslam the only vote against) to hire Sean McDermott. He created this mess you had for 3 years of Jackson (and the many prior years). He seems to be the example of an owner who treats his team as a play-thing rather than a business. What a disgrace! I hope you guys have some good fortune ahead of you with Baker Mayfield if Haslam does not meddle and screw it up.
