- Actor Robin Lord Taylor drops in on the YH Studio to tell us all about stepping into the webbed shoes of the nefarious Penguin in the Batman origin story series "Gotham", including how much time he spent getting the character's limp just right! He also gives us some hints of what's to come in Season 1, plus he reveals the moment when he knew he wanted to be an actor!
They picked the PERFECT guy to play Penguin. He's my favorite character on the show!

Is it just me or is Robin's character the Penguin like Tom Hiddlestons character Loki.
They are both the antagonist but are oddly attractive, cute and charming like a lot...
Seriously it's oddly satisfying to drool over such villian characters!

I find Robin's portrayal of Penguin both amazing and mesmerising, you can't help but root for him even when he's at his most evil. Robin's such a lovely and generous guy, an amazing actor ------- hope we see more of him in the future.

Robin got his 'limp' perfected by wearing an upturned soda bottlecap in one of his shoes(talk about suffering for your art!)...btw, the guy who designed and made Robin's suits for the set also designed and made many of fmr. President Obama's elegant wear!

Except for the Fish mooney scene in Selina Kyle, when she witnesses the guys beating or killing Raoul. She played the character and scene in a real and believable way.In January,there might be much more of those types of performances.
