  • Dive deep into the mesmerizing world of the Bible, a monumental anthology that spans the Old Testament and New Testament, revealing a complex tapestry of historical, spiritual, and linguistic layers. Discover the fascinating origins of this sacred text, traditionally attributed to Moses, yet in reality, penned by a diverse array of authors over centuries. This video unveils the multifaceted composition of the Bible, navigating through its ancient languages, geographical spread, and the profound impact it has had on language evolution and standardization.
Embark on a journey through the linguistic landscape of the Bible, starting with Ancient Hebrew, which constitutes approximately 56.1% of the text. Hebrew, once an ancient and sacred language, underwent a remarkable revival, becoming a vibrant part of modern Israeli culture. Explore the oldest texts, such as the Song of Deborah and the Song of Moses, and uncover the rich heritage of Hebrew prose and poetry. A light-hearted joke about the intricacies of translation highlights the depth of understanding required to grasp the original meanings.
Venture into the world of Aramaic, comprising about 3.0% of the Bible, predominantly in the Old Testament, and sprinkled within the New Testament. This segment connects the historical dots to the geographical spread of Aramaic across the Near East, mirroring the modern-day region of Kurdistan. Delve into the significance of Aramaic as the likely language spoken by Jesus, adding an authentic layer to the Gospels.
The exploration continues with Koine Greek, the linguistic vessel for the entirety of the New Testament, making up about 40.9% of the Bible. Koine Greek, a common dialect during the Hellenistic and Roman periods, served as an ideal medium for conveying the New Testament's universal messages. The video further discusses the Bible's language segments, highlighting the distinctive features of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts, and their contributions to the cultural and religious narrative of ancient times.
Uncover the transformative power of the first translations, notably the Septuagint, the earliest Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible, which played a pivotal role in making the scriptures accessible to a broader audience. The video emphasizes the Bible's influence on the evolution and standardization of languages. Ancient Hebrew and Koine Greek have evolved significantly, while landmark translations like Luther's German Bible and the King James Version have molded the linguistic framework of entire languages, introducing phrases that are still in everyday use.
This video is a treasure trove of knowledge for those intrigued by the historical, linguistic, and cultural significance of the Bible. From the ancient texts to the impact on modern languages, it offers a comprehensive overview of the Bible's enduring legacy. Engage with this journey through time, language, and belief, and gain a deeper understanding of one of the most influential texts in human history.

2:34 the Hebrew language was revived by a guy name "Eliezer Ben Yehuda" because jews where in diaspora the only language jews from all over the world agreed to use was Hebrew, they didn't use Yiddish because it was an Ashkenazi based language' Ashkenazi means pretty much like central and eastern European, and because of that the Sephardic jews and Mizrahi jews who was the majority refused to have Yiddish as the national language so they revived Hebrew, up until then Hebrew was only used in prayers and such. (sorry if my English isn't perfect I'm from Israel)' also really great video!

koine greek is nout pronounced like "coin", you should either pronounce the e at the end like in erasmian pronounciation (anachronistic for the first century A.D) or like "kini" (with the post 6th century greek pronunciation).

Proven to have been written in Hebrew . The apostles were JEWS and wrote to the Synagogues to the Messianic JEWS . Remember Yeshua came first , as Saul. / Paul would do as well . Paul said that the Messiah spoke to him in HEBREW . Hebrewisms are found in the Gr. Translation . The Septuagint was written by request for Ptolemy, the Hellenistic King of Egypt sometime after the death of Alexander the Great . This was so it might have a place in the Library of Alexandria. There maybe some letters to the new pagan” Christians “ in Gr. .

I wish all Abrahamic religions would be still and KNOW God before they preach and teach about him:
I wish all Abrahamic religions would stop preaching and teaching so this world can find peace: NONE of the religions kept the Abrahamic covenant till they experience the Messiah like Abraham who saw his day and was glad.
The true Purim (LOTS) were cast from the foundation of the world for Jews in every generation to experience the Jewish Feast days and keep the covenant Abraham made with Hashem so Jews can come out of the false identity (ego/MASK) and find a relationship to Hashem that is REAL (IS-REAL):
I will tell you that if the PEOPLE OF ISRAEL do not bring the Messiah, they are not the people of Israel and Christians can't fix this problem because Israel already rejected the Christian Messiah and it isn't all wrong that they do: Yet rejecting Jesus isn't enough of an answer: UNDERSTANDING Jesus is the true answer for Israel, Christianity and Islam, yes Islam too and only by understanding Jesus as he really is, will the three Abrahamic religions find peace: As of now, Jesus stumbles all three religions and a lack of understanding him causes the wars to continue between these three Abrahamic religions:
There is no point in fighting over a land that doesn't belong to anyone because only those who KEEP ABRAHAMS COVENANT with Elyown (The MOST HIGH GOD) are given the PROMISES MADE TO ABRAHAM: NOBODY kept that covenant if they are still fighting among themselves; NOBODY, not Israel, not Christians, not Islam, but all are REJECTING THE TERMS OF THE COVENANANT so they are fighting for nothing: ALLAH, HASHEM and Jesus will reject all three of you for not keeping that covenant Abraham made and it was for ALL HIS DESCENDANTS to inherit the promises: It is because Israel did not keep that covenant that God allowed them to be taken into Egypt so they could come out of Egypt (EXILE) and accept the LAW that makes up that covenant and it was written in their stony hearts. Now Jews have been trying to KEEP that law but they can't because it is a COVENANT they have to keep and not laws they have to LEARN over and over again. The covenant brings the ANOINTING OF HASHEM, that makes them ONE with him and see him FACE TO FACE and HEAR HIS VOICE TODAY. If they do not keep the covenant, they can learn the law of Moses till Moses is resurrected and still they won't be able to keep the laws or build their last temple, no matter how many RED HEIFERS they kill.
Messiah isn't coming and he isn't going to be a person: Messiah is the Last Adam, a whole body of living stones, built into the Tabernacle of David, a house of prayer for all nations: ALL NATIONS: Israel is not a state but a state of heart and mind and if the people of Israel do not EXPERIENCE Messiah RISING IN THEM, they are not Israel because the Messiah is the ANOINTING that made Jacob Israel as he arose in him and took him up the LADDER of the ANOINTING by the BLOOD OF HASHEM so he could see him face to face and his LIFE was spared: The rapture is the Jewish feast of Tabernacles that comes after the Jewish feast day of Yom Kippur where the Jew goes deep into the darkness to come out with the WILLINGNESS to perform his VOW (Nahum 1:15) and repair the tree of knowledge by making it the TREE OF LIFE (anointing in you) Planted by the LIVING WATER (anointing in you): A water that came out of the rock Moses struck (the anointing he did not teach ISRAEL to SPEAK TO (prophesy to raise the dead bones of the whole house of Israel): Sorry someone had to tell you because your religious leaders won't:
Jesus only works when he is REVEALED in his saints 2 Thess 1:10, every man in his own order (LOT) I Cor 15, is made alive by Christ RISING in that saint: Till this happens, if Christ is not risen through your heart (stone rolled away) you are still dead in your sins. If you claim to be resurrected (first resurrection) then you are seated in heavenly places with him already so why are you waiting for him to return? The first resurrection is the RAPTURE Paul experienced and wrote about that makes you as an ANGEL and the measure of an angel is the measure of a MAN 144 cubits:
Jesus wrote on the ground: (THE WORD that comes OUT OF THE FATHERS BOSOM/heart) so he could return with us, because the word does not return by leaving us in the VOID:
Jer 17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Creator of this video needs to understand the difference between "written in" (a.k.a. authored in) and translated.
The entire bible was authored/written in Hebrew. It was translated into other languages.
