Hey bud, I just switched over to speed density on a 16 bit ecu but I’m struggling with getting the idle smooth, any tips and suggestions….. I tried forcing into open loop and adjusting the ve, also tried messing with the ve table in closed loop, tried playing with a few other tables like the target primary open loop table and changing the min active primary open loop enrichment value …… gonna try a blended maf/sd next but if that doesn’t work I’ll be kinda of stuck moving from there
Hi, I tinkered with the: Idle speed Stability A, Engine load smoothing and the VE. I have a break in map you can look at. here is link: n8rws.com/jlb9314psibreakinv3d.hex
Hey! I have merp on my 06 wrx. And I was having a ton of issues. The biggest issue was not being able to understand a log. Sense I can’t use the log and overlay it in romraider how do I go about understanding where exactly to make my changes on my ve table? 06 wrx sd
Hi, I am not using that software anymore but believe X axis is boost (or load?) and Y is RPM. I logged wideband AFR and would adjust the VE table based on actual AFR vs target AFR at the point in the VE where RPM and boost (or load) intersect.
Hi TurboQueaf, im trying to install the merpmod 32bit patch on my 2008 wrx but, I dont quite understand the instructions, could you please guide me through? best reagards, joe
+TurboQueaf Hi, yes I did a thread asking for help, i would really like to be succesfull at this but its so complex in comparison to a normal efi system... for example my fuel pump duty is doing crazy stuff like enrichening afr with no reason, i hard wired a walbro pump to avoid this, but still when duty is 100% it will be too rich, as if there was some compensation table affectin, I also dont understand which is the main fuel table in the unpatched rom, and in the patched rom why there was no ign vs map table, i have a thread and commented on the forum, please give me a hand...
Smooth startup and idle!

You may get a warning, my website is not https
@@TurboQueaf thanks bud I appreciate it, will take a look at it when I get home
Did you have any idle surge issues in full speed density mode? What does your idle stability table look like?
Hi Alex, yes it was a challenge to dial in idle.. but over time i was able to get it very smooth.
Blast me an email and I will send you a copy of the 30psi map I was running n8rws@sbcglobal.net

@@TurboQueaf what do you currently have the car tuned on?

@@TurboQueaf ahh. Are you tuning it or someone else?

Hi Joe, hard to do via UA-cam posts.. did you try to ask in the MERP forum on RomRaider?

@@jasaircraft hey, howd u go with this? Its easy with the gratis patch but flash or switch, its a pain to try and build the patch
