Very true! I agree she's pricey, but so would I agree with the FW200, but it was lame looking, and this is SWEET, plus the included FPV camera, if you're into this type of thing ;) With all the tech squeezed in, like you said, it's gonna be a while for these ones to come down...but direct drive and amazing flight stabilizers are what I want. The rest is cool, especially for the new pilot who just wants to WATCH it fly, but for the skilled RC Heli Pilot, they will scream over-priced, since this isn't really marketed to them. I really like it, since I LOVE scale stuff...especially when it's a favorite type of real, like this or the Apache, Cobra, etc ;)
Hey Brian, love the channel. new subscriber here and a thirty year CG Veteran. I have been looking at the F09-S for a couple weeks now, but haven't pulled the trigger. I ran across your channel while surfing for it. That is actualy a MH-60 Jayhawk, same airframe family as the Blackhawk but with a completely different mission set. Regardless, keep up the great work.
I actually used to work on those once apon a time. I've done repair on the sliding doors and replaced the tracks they slide on. Also done sheet metal repairs on them after they returned from Iraq. Was fun to work on.
14:38 your altitude is limited because you are in optical flow mode. go into gps mode if you want to go higher.. also don't worry about flying to far. this thing has an invisible wall that it cannot pass that will shrink based on battery capacity. it will ALWAYS be able to return to home.
very cool little heli has ALL the bells and whistles. But Bri , if you don't have any room left in your basement that you have to keep planes in your living room, then you really need to have a garage sale!! you let us in to your house,(you have shown us the downstairs plane storage) that wifey/camera crew of yours is a real trooper and keeper!

I have never been into helis before but this is so cool and looks awesome. Looks to have combined drone technology and heli technology together. Awesome video. Have not seen anything in awhile I must have but this may have just changed that.

It was never advertised as having a TX with an inclusive screen for FPV, just the FPV camera itself. Nice RC scale looking Jay Hawk indeed without the hook !
Wow! Pleasantly surprised by the way this one looks/flies, and the packaging is pretty awesome too. I’d be interested too know if it can ground taxi on the wheels and do running takeoffs and landings! Just add a little collective to get it light on the wheels and then use cyclic to induce forward motion. Once it has some speed it should just lift off with maybe a touch of added collective to help it up. Sorry for the homework assignment lol!
Is there a non controller version? That controller is very nice but I do not see the point I have a $200 RM boxer already. Also I can rewire ELRS, TBS , or gemini instead not only that wire possibly dji o3 with 3d printed camera adapter that I will have to make or find.
Some of these heli's are offered as BNF's, but when they're GPS-HELI-DRONES, we don't often see it, since the flight controllers are dependent on more hand shaking. You're welcome to give it a try, if you wish, but the cost is probably more on the HELI end then the Transmitter end.
Beautiful UH-60 Coast Guard heli. I just purchased and want to know how do you charge the battery...the manual is not helpful. Do you charge with the battery off and just monitor until the display on the white balance/Charger goes up to 12.0 Volts. For example I started charging at 11.3 Volts and went up and stood at 12.0 Volts (within 20 minutes)....Upon turning on the battery to Check the bars...I saw 4 bars. Is this how you charge the battery..Did I do it correctly
You get a lot for the money. You could put this in a movie for a real look. I am getting more into helis. because I do not have to find a field for a plane. What a wonderful case. Case itself is worth 100 bucks.
Brian (not mike, fyi) if you get it as a RTF, like we did, then you don't really need to do much of anything. We show the whole process from unbox, but that part follows the flights, if you weren't aware. The biggest issues to watch for is the LIGHT CONDITION on the top of the heli. When it's ready to work, AKA GPS'es are connected and the flight controller is working, you'll end up with GREEN light...then giver her heck! She's a drone that looks like a heli, so it's basically flying itself. Use caution on the inverted stuff, but beyond that, it's super easy to fly this and other "Drone Heli's" - so, no, you don't need to be a skilled pilot, but you need to have basic drone control skills, and the heli will basically fly itself. Hey, mine is flashing gren and red on startup - what does this mean? Also, the tail rotor starts to pulse rappidly during flight, like its a warning or something, but the battery is still pretty full. What does this mean? Unfortunately the user manul doesn;t cover this and there arne't any trouble shooting videos I can find on UA-cam yet.
Quick question is it possible to charge the E200 Blackhawk batteries on the UH-60 Coast guard charger with the white balance charger and can you mix and match both batteries between the both helis?
I'm not Brian, but I'll offer my opinion if I may...Although the FlyWings are not as detailed in scale appearance, they seem to be IMHO, noticeably more stable, especially in a GPS stationary hover.

Agreed, and it should normally be priced around $250 RTF but today's inflationary pricing has doubled even tripled prices on everything from eggs to gasoline and yes unfortunately RC products too.
Great looking helicopter, more detailed appearance than the larger SkyWing version. However, IMO, and judging by all the videos I've seen, it does not seem to present quite as stable a stationary hover as the larger FlyWing version. I don't believe it's because of the wind factor as I've seen both versions in similar wind conditions.

Me personally it doesn't matter cause you won't find a helicopter with these features and that is as scale looking as this is for its price the big ones cost you a few racks & it has gps and all that & you pretty much don't have to worry about crashing her compared to the big boys when you can't fart if you flying 😂😂
Hi there, mine flight good, until yesterday, take off and no control, crash hard to the floor, almost kill my cat! Very scary, broke tail boom fuselaje etc... malfuction, now i don't trust on this heli.
Yeah, you could probably get one lifted up, but if you can find a more scale (smaller) size figurine, that would be cooler ;) This heli is super powerful, in terms of lift, but no hoist to speak of, if that was your question.

Hi Brian, How would you compare the Flywing 200 and the Flywing 450l V2 which is larger size and also GPS.

It's not much more than other similar "Drone" style Heli's but to all their own. It's not for everyone.

This is an over priced piece of junk. The main frame is plastic and fragile.
