Hilarious episode today. Summoning Tango by intentionally violating Hermit etiquette and being like "Nobody cares, come over here", followed by the bloopers at the end? Absolute gold. Skizz belongs on Hermitcraft for sure, this season is so much better with him in it.
New conspiracy theory: every hermit begins with a randomly assigned item they *cannot* receive through any amount of grinding. They are not informed what this item is.
Some of the hermits also seem to have increased luck/drop rates for certain items. Not sure where they are heading with this bit. They have to know though, can't be coincidence they all go out and farm for the exact item one of them has increased luck with and the other has decreased drop rates or zero drop rates.
You have to give the universe props though, Impulse getting the 6th and final skull with your sword on the first kill using it is the funniest possible outcome of that sequence.
you all should go watch Impulse and skizz in their naked and scared, you will see this isn't the first time this has happened to them LMAO skizz just has no luck with wither skulls

@@samvsmedia8680 it was like that until 1.20. Now mob drops, fishing loot, bartering and other loot tables are deterministic/based on the seed. I'm not sure why they changed it, but it's helpful to verify speedruns i guess

I love how Skizz decided to abuse the summoning moderator Tango when he does something against server etiquette gag in order to get help with the fishing slingshot. It is hilarious and it really adds to Skizz's humor and world build. I am so glad I subscribed I didn't realize how funny this would be but every episode I am having a good time laughing.

Editing and writing in this episode was especially on point. I loved the idea of playing the time lapse music backwards to do the tear down. Also, as others have pointed out, summoning Tango via the bit was amazing.
the pain of having to tear down a big build when you realize you've made a mistake and need to rethink ~ happens to us all. The water columns look good! Could maybe build a moat and connect that to the river to integrate it into the surrounding landscape some more?

absolutely love the antics this episode with the terrible luck that rivals grian's. plus summoning tango through his helpful "don't be that guy" guide mode to help is so clever! also, minecraft treats lateral movement differently. but you can preserve momentum if you have an elytra, or maybe knocked back by an explosion

But, for horizontal launching, two things I've seen in the past are: - Entity-powered cannons (Having a huge number of entities in one spot and getting launched by bumping into it. A bit unfriendly to the server's perfromance though!) - TNT-cannon powered (Using Turtle Master potions, full blast prot, etc- getting launched by a bunch of lit TNT all on one block. Such as having a stack of dispensers, all with TNT.)
Skizz,remember when you Tango and Impulse were talking about how all fishing drops aré predetermined by the seed (which is true it was added in the most recent update) it also applies to mob drops. So all those skulls impulse and tango got would have been yours if they weren’t there

Skizz, you make content that defines "the journey was worth it regardless of the destination". It could have been a dead topic if you looked up the limit of fishing someone and said "welp, I guess there's no point trying". But you made it a fantastic scene full of laughs and gave the three of you reason to collab for just a little bit of fun. AND you made a staged skit like a comedy routine. I don't care if Tango's entrance was planned from the beginning, the idea and the development of that bit still surprises me and I had no idea what was happening. You just cooked a good joke and made me laugh the whole time. Also your editing of the nether had me in stitches. Rule of three hundred still works. "How to summon tango" :'D i am crying from laughter. Also to get launched laterally you could use tangos method with a Ravager and a shield. However that is obviously not with a fishing rod
I really like the water columns from a visual standpoint. A lot of the hermits like to use similar color blocks in their builds to create their gradients (no problem with that), but sometimes a sharp contrast in colors can really make a build pop.

Fishing loot is treasure if i remember right and not in the same as mob drops
Pretty sure mob loot isn't determined that way, if I recall correctly it is based on a random number generated every tick

Skizz, you make content that defines "the journey was worth it regardless of the destination". It could have been a dead topic if you looked up the limit of fishing someone and said "welp, I guess there's no point trying". But you made it a fantastic scene full of laughs and gave the three of you reason to collab for just a little bit of fun. AND you made a staged skit like a comedy routine. I don't care if Tango's entrance was planned from the beginning, the idea and the development of that bit still surprises me and I had no idea what was happening. You just cooked a good joke and made me laugh the whole time. Also your editing of the nether had me in stitches. Rule of three hundred still works. Also to get launched laterally you could use tangos method with a Ravager and a shield. However that is obviously not with a fishing rod
I really like the water columns from a visual standpoint. A lot of the hermits like to use similar color blocks in their builds to create their gradients (no problem with that), but sometimes a sharp contrast in colors can really make a build pop.
