David Sullivan adjusted his cufflinks as he glanced around the luxurious café. This was supposed to be a celebratory day. He and his best friend, Ryan, were about to finalize one of the biggest deals of their lives. A deal that would solidify their company’s place at the top of the industry and ensure their financial success for years to come. The café buzzed with the low hum of conversation, clinking silverware, and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Everything seemed perfect. But beneath the surface, a storm was brewing.
"Ryan, I'm going to use the restroom real quick," David said, standing from the polished mahogany table. Ryan, who had been scrolling through his phone, barely looked up, nodding absentmindedly.David walked away, feeling a sense of accomplishment. Years of hard work had led to this moment. He had built his empire alongside Ryan, and together, they were about to close a d eal that would elevate them to new heights.
only for the waitress David would have lost everything & Ryan' was sly how can a friend do that to someone that to anyone little alone 2 people who grew up together.. good on you David & the waitress. Ryan deserve's everything he gets nothing I hope, fantastic story & fantastic narrator

Why did she show up at his office. He didn't send for her. And now all of a sudden he's talking about her by his side. When the hell did that happen ???????????????
Let me get this straight he offered her help to go back to school and even offered her a job but he didn't even offer to help her with her mother of get decent furniture or a decent place to live, what a chump she save his multi million dollar company and that is the best he can do ?????
