Thanks for watching and thanks for your question also. Permits are crustacean Feeders so the love shell food. So blue crabs, hermit crabs and pretty much any type of crabs are good bait for them. They do but on shrimp also but shrimp doesn't stay on the hook for a long time. You can also use sea eggs/sea urchins for bait.
