i cant believe how difficult to create the movie such as SUPERMAN as the greatest film of all the time by using old technology in 1970 1980....amazing and brilliant.. two thumbs up...
Christopher Reeve was and will always be the real Superman in my opinion. To me, he even looks like the Superman in comic books, coloring books of the 1960s and 70s. They can't even come close to anyone else that can ever played Clark Kent and Superman after Christopher Reeve. Though Tom Welling from television series, "Smallville" did a very good job playing the young teenager Clark Kent. But even in the very end of the final series when he put on the Superman suit, he didn't look like a true Superman.
The presence of a Marlborough truck in this movie is a tell tale sign Donner had nothing to do with the particular material that was shot. He waa against advertising of such things
4:58 - 5:05 My favorite part is with the blue car running into the other car & the film crew picked up the blue car. I couldn't remember how big the car was but it was still funny. And the way Zod screamed in part 3.

Christopher Reeve - True Superman (R.I.P.)
Amazing ingenuity and so much work went into this!
What was said at the beginning about the old footage, that was what was filmed by Richard Donner simultaneously with part one.

Was that really how 42nd St. looked in real life back then?
Must have been November 1979 when they filmed the street hurricane scenes.
I knew it! Support cables holding the bus and industrial fans 2 simulate the super breath effects!
I wonder what company sponsored this movie? certainly a company with a healthy product.. one that is good for children to see and aspire to purchase
10:10 - :12 I'm glad Donner didn't have this in his cut 'cause this wind blow's 'very serious.'
11:05 - :10 He's right.
11:33 - 12:07 Smart man but I like the Donner cut best.
