  • Happy International Women’s Day to all the women watching this.
    As a team, we found this episode very enriching. We didn’t realise how much of our own assumptions and misconceptions would be addressed and clarified along this discussion. What an honour it was to engage, listen and learn from these powerful women Gracy Ayee, Levino Yhoshü, and Dr. Theyiesinuo Keditsu.
    We hope this discussion really gives you, our viewers thoughts to chew on and educates us all, men and women, young and old for the better!

    Let me be very honest, Gracy aye and Mekhela mama are so deeply knowledgeable about women empowerment but Lidino knows more about the ground reality of the roles of male and women regardless of any given society in this universe and not just partiarchal society.
    I want to go on hearing all 4 of you talk including the host.

Loved the way how all of them brought out their points brilliantly and that's how it should be giving opportunity to everyone to speak up thier minds and start discussing Hopefully next time there will be some man representatives aswell to discuss this issue thoroughly and hopefully come to a common understand as to how this problem be tackled together for our better future...

    • @BeingHumane173
      @BeingHumane173 10 місяців тому +1

      Marriage should be a partnership of equals. There should be mutual respect and cooperation between the two partners. While, I may agree that, it might be difficult to run a family with two 'heads', (though not always the case for every family), that doesnt mean the 'head' should always be the man. The 'head' of a family can be the wife too, not necessarily the husband. Saying the husband should always be the 'head' is sexist. Family leadership should not be decided by gender. A couple's or family's 'head' can be decided either by a toss or both the partners can take turns in leading the family. And yeah, off course agree with the last part though, the one 'heading' should not misrule.

    The ending is unexpectedly satisfying because in the begining I thought it's gonna be a one sided argument without a male guest ,however something changed when all the guest said that
    they are against the system and not about a gender issue.Thats very true and a very diplomatic statement as well .
    Because fake biased feminist are mentally disturbed due to bad experience they faced because of the other gender hence they leverage this movement to get their little piece of satisfaction. But the case is different here .
    In the end its like we are talking about real ideas and observations
    and and not just trying to prove a point or debate about a loophole in someone's point.

    Woman wants a man taller then her.
    Woman wants a man stronger then her.
    Woman wants a man who is more confident than herself.
    Woman wants a man who is more experience than herself.
    Woman wants a man who earn more money or not lesser than her.
    Woman simply wants a man better than her, basically superior to her.
    And honestly we men are okay with it, we don't complain about their expectations from us. We are actually proud to be a man like they have expected and be there for them. But instead, these days Feminists are blaming the male for leading the society, for becoming leader in the family, saying patriarchy is oppressive for womens. These mind sets of girls really hurts me as a man.
    Men and women are not equal, both are designed differently with the roles and responsibilities. Inorder to live and progress in the society there must be a Leaders, one has to lead the other. So, most of the times it's always the men Leaders than women in family or society, because it is what it is like I mentioned in the beginning.

    • @takaTally
      @takaTally Рік тому +1

      That’s literally what women are fighting against? Having these gender roles and work division stereotypes is regressive and restricts women! It’s not rocket science. Anyone should be allowed to do anything they wanna and be free to do any work as they wish. It’s the 21st century not your Stone Age times. Y’all think women are slaves and only should do housework just because they are born women? That’s just sad. Sure, men cannot nurture babies or reproduce- those are biological functions but a simple and menial task like housework, is something anyone can do , man or woman and shouldn’t be relegated to women, on the sheer basis of “being a woman”. This parochial sexist mindset that many of you have, in Naga society, is what is holding back the women in our society. L take.

    • @nagabyblood4435
      @nagabyblood4435 Рік тому

      @@takaTally because of people like you , feminism is a dangerous reality. If you think you are really empowered, you may not need men to give you protection from all dangers and also ask reservation in the decision making bodies. The 21st century fever should not make you forget that there is still gender specific roles in the society which is beautiful and should not be discarded because of the empowerment you seek. No man restricts women from doing what they want to do. Get your concept of women empowerment right.

Also, just to clarify, we do not seek to be better than men. No idea why you bring that up so much when I haven’t ever mentioned it. Just to be clear, don’t mix feminazis and feminists. We want to be respected and treated on equal level and not be dictated by society to do this or that work just because of gender. It’s not society’s role to dictate either male or female roles. Everyone has to be free. Including you or I. You’re missing my point completely but anw, the system will change however you resist so boo hoo. To gain sainthood by victimhood is the core idea of feminism. It is dangerous.

    Do we have a Man empowerment movement?
    Speaking of electoral political perspective; According to the constitution of India, both genders have an equal right to represent in both parliament & Legislative Assembly, so, is it necessary to give a reservation for a woman, if men & women are the same?
    There are different kinds of feminism but I don't tolerate radical feminism.

      You dont need a man's empowerment movement, because men were not historically oppressed like women were.
      Just like Tribes are given reservations, to compensate for their historically oppressed status done by mainlanders, in the same way, women need reservation, in order to compensate for the fact that women have been historically oppressed by men in most societies around the world.

    So much negativity and pessimism.
    Our society may have its flaws but I'll submit that it is still one of the best as far as treating women folk is concern and also there is no such thing as a perfect social structure in the world.
