I really enjoyed David Gregory on NBC Meet the Press. I was sorry that they replaced him with Chuck Todd. I heard during that time exactly what he said that NBC did not want him to pull an "Ann Curry" whom I also simply adore.

Well, he didn't exactly "danced...with Karl Rove" as if they were a dance couple at the Radio-Television Correspondents' Association Dinner. Rove was hopping around like clown with the spotlight on him while Gregory was in the background grooving to the beat.
Sounds to me like he was fired because the network finally realized this guy has a pretty weak mind and he was not particularly suited for "Meet the Press" based on his dumb beliefs and attitude. He obviously does not even know what faith or spirituality are,. If he did this interview would never have happened.
