Because of her I’ve been learning poly gel nails 😭 she makes it look so easy I haven’t figured out the apex part though my nails come out flat

Even though it’s not what you wanted the different shades of pink added a nice touch to it.
Never knew you could mix dip powder with polygel you taught me something new.
Maybe if you added more powder to the gel it might have darkened it? 🤷🏾♀️ not sure though.

For the fingers with pink glitter, it may be easier to put the regular powder as the first layer and then do the glitter as the last layer. This makes me want to try dip powder bc it looks so good and seems to be fairly easy, esp compared to acrylic. I don’t have a steady enough hand to try acrylic.

What you should do with the glitter nails is do 1 layer of the closest color to the glitter color, (in this case the solid pink on your middle finger). Then do 1 or 2 layer(s) of the glitter shade do get to your desired look, (like some few glitter only or full on diamonds on your nails) then cap the nails with a thin layer of clear. The way youre doing your glitter nails is a bit too thick and a little waste of powder. This way helps with the gap between glitter and the shape of the nails, helps you save a bit of the cute glitter for future use, also it makes the nails thinner and you dont have to put so much effort into filling them down xD

A little advise, put a base layer of the plain pink then do a final glitter coat that way you don't get it all lumpy and bumpy, but still get a good coverage of the pink. X

Turned out so cute......instead of three coats of the chunky dip you can do 2 and then encapsulated. But very very cute!❤❤❤
I use gel base coat and UV lamp with my dip powder instead of the traditional dip system and it turned out SO much better

I just found your channel and I’m absolutely loving all of your vids.... question: why do you mix the clear poly gel on the nail like that when u encapsulate as oppose to patting it out?
It’s acrylgel not Polygel, so it’s much more sticky and runny than regular polygel. It’s also much harder to pat around than regular Polygel so I found that doing a paint brush stroke motion works the best to smooth out the acrylgel.

Are you left handed or right handed because I heard you should always start using your less dominant hand so that it's easy for them to match or something like that???

Because you don't want the acrylic to lift. You have to remove the dead skin. The acrylic won't stick or seal well otherwise.

I do not do dip except for on my toes and use basecoat to dip not glue! It works really good too! But I prefer polygel and acrylic for nails:) love these xoxoxoxoxox
