That was one of the most confusing challenges ever. We both fell out as I was trying to help my mum play this as she was stuck. My mum a proper little gamer. Plays all Lara games. Assian creed but this was the most confusing challenge ever ..... thank you so much for helping us. Much appreciated.

@P.VALDMANIS just double press your space bar (or whatever key you choosed for jump). But not to fast you need a short break after the first jump

Yes, overthinking this one got me. I thought you wanted to raise the center platform to the top, creating some cool beam at the statue type of thing. Sigh, a lot simpler after seeing your video.

Im so glad you put how to get out in this walkthrough, I went through this whole puzzle feeling smart for doing it fairly quickly and easily on my own... only to spend 20 minutes dying trying to figure out how tf to get out.

I had problems with this because I just assumed the purpose was to hit all the lights on the middle and raise the platform to the top. I managed to do that somehow then realized it wasn't what you're meant to do.
Also the first time I tried to jump to the middle platform I fell in the water, seemed like there was an invisible block stopping me, so I assumed it was wrong.
I did exactly the same thing! Poorly designed puzzle! Ugh

The satisfaction of solving it is so awesome. I solved it on my own. Just came to see if others had trouble. Took me over an hour but I figured it out. I solved all the tombs on my own, I want to find all the crypts but that would take waaay too much exploration. The tombs are the best challenge anyway.

It was not worth it! since the price it was only increasing the herbal continuity, plus with (1) skill point to upgrade in the camp. I was expecting a Crystal achievement for Xbox console users. The hidden city it’s a trap, and the whole full point of that is to be under cover to follow Dr.Dominguez, and to get back the golden knife from Trinity as well. Also, there are other interested Tombs in the hidden city, and the sun of the temple it was the most difficult one. Thank you for your guidance, and I was wondering how you figure out to record that footages to show us how you did it since the game it’s on automatic save for each movement. I think you had recorded the whole thing, then use editing, and that’s makes sense.
I was close to getting this puzzle but got stuck on moving the very last 2 bridges. Just subscribed. This is really an underappreciated game. I am having as much fun since I beat the main story as I was before.

I feel the devs played a giant joke on everybody. It's not that i was stumped how to get to the upgrade technique but i thought there was another part of the puzzle as well to get the very top light that spins around from the center colum as it raises or lowers around to point at the far high up crystal marked here 7:57 that sits high above where you unlock the new skill. That was the part driving me nuts. I guess apparently it was just a red herring and level design to make you assume there was something else to happen when really there is not. Little did I notice while doing what i thought was one puzzle the light has already been shining up at that crystal before moving mirror 2 around so I fooled myself based on the level design to think there was more about this room that there was.

Figured out the puzzle after some time but I confused mirrors 3 & 4 and looked this up to figure out how to get out of the temple! 😅 Talk about a big oof moment lol

Same here. The puzzle itself just took a bit of shuffling about, like a rubik’s cube. The real puzzle was the exit location 😂.

Oh my god I took so long to figure this out and I didn’t want to look it up online!!! But this is the best tutorial. I also appreciate the speed up through the various unnecessary parts. Makes it less painful to wait til the part you’re stuck at haha I was only ONE wrong move away dang it!!

I believe this puzzle is a game design fault. I didn't even notice the far swinging posts moving when the lights hits them. You have to look extremely carefully to notice it. Thanks for the help 👍👍👍

Thanks for this. I thought I was pointing the light across to the 3rd mirror but I couldn't tell if it was moving so I was getting angry. In other words i was pointing it down that way but it looked like nothing was happening. Oh well live and learn.. Thanks for for figuring it out.
