I used their AC180 to power my lathe so I could turn with GREEN power created by the sun!
I thought it would be cool to make a small bowling pin bottle stopper with the remaining piece of bowling pin I had left over after my Christmas project. The pin has been sanded to 320 grit and finished with sanding sealer and a melamine spray. Let me know what you think, I think it is really cool and something that comes with a great story. #bowlingpin #woodturning #woodworking

    Disclaimer:
My videos are for entertainment purposes only. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first.
And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so.

Do you think there are any other sports-related items I could turn? Maybe an old tennis racket, or a bowling ball? 😉😂

Hi Harry the generator was a really cool idea. I like how you made a mini bowling pin bottle stopper out of the top of the big bowling pin. Thank you for a magnificent video from Amanda xx

It’s like a paradox or something like making the top of a bowling pin into a mini bowling pin 😂

Good work Harry, how about an old baseball bat when they were made of wood, these days they are made out of Ally, or even a rounders bat, cricket stumps including the bails, croquet mallet, even combining more than one sport. Cheers

If you still have more bowling pins, I think it would be a great basis for a goblet. Just an idea.
