Hi Karolina and Family! It is nothing short of amazing how much your family have accomplished in one year!! Every single thing in the yard.....the gardens, the rabbits and hutch, the sheep, the chickens and coop, just everything! And in the house - there weren't really inside walls at first, no running water, no shower!, no kitchen. Cooking, washing, brushing your teeth, everything had to be done outside! You should do a one year before/after video!
Hard to believe its been over a year now that you all moved there. I must say your Mother is just the best. She is beautiful inside and out. And you are her Minnie Me. Thanks for posting. I was starting to get worried with everything that is going on in Ukraine. I am glad to see you well and happy. Cute puppy, I can hardly wait. We are getting down in to the 40's at night but we haven't had a hard freeze yet. An apature lets the light in to you camera. The F-stop tells the apature on your camera how long to remain open before it closes again. Your dad is right the stuff you put between the tile edges is called grout. It goes in soft and then hardens up to hold the tiles in place. He is much better at tiling than the man who came to do it for him. Stay safe and God bless you all.

I made apple cider vinegar with all my peelings , After I peeled and cut the apples for pies, and froze them, I found a recipe on google using the peelings vinegar. It really did well!

When it starts to freeze the kale makes a kind of ,i do t know the name, sugar?, and after a few weeks the kale has a different taste. We chop the kale very fine and boil it.We also boil potatoes and we mix it together with some milk and butter and a bit of salt too. We name it " stamppot". I've seen people eating kale raw,with some lettuce,but I prefere "stamppot". You eat it as chips,very strange for me,but I like to see what and how others from all over the world eat and cook. You've learned a lesson; never leave something outside in the rain what can catch water. Or put it upside down. Thank you for sharing this with us Karolina,I enjoyed your video.

Your livestock Guardian dog (LGD) is going to be incredibly valuable to your farm. I have a Anatolian X Great Pyrenees LGD and he is absolutely essential to my farm. We have a huge pack of big coyotes as well as mountain lions, Bobcats and everything else that wants to eat my animals, my LGD keeps them all at Bay.

Hello! So nice to see you again and catch up! I want to let you know about a way to keep birds of prey away from your chickens. I have had chickens for years and just learned that the hawks here (USA - Kansas) are afraid of crows and owls. Amazon has crow and owl decoys that you can put in the chicken yard and the hawks won't bother them. Also, they don't seem to go after black chickens. I hope this helps. Please teach us some words in czech. I love your videos and look forward to the next one.
If you line your raised garden beds like I have, in mine. with unneeded paper, broken down cardboard boxes or old news paper ,magazines etc. Before putting down the compost or top soil layer, you will never have to pick another weed again.
Most Apple trees are grafted onto another rooted tree (for reasons that are beyond me). This can be why that one tree has two different types of apples growing from one tree. The root base will develop its own branches as well as the part that was grafted onto the tree. Most of the time, the fruit from the root base isn't as good.

I love watching you all on your homestead, you seem to be such a close family which isn’t seen enough these days 😊 I suggest you take an online course of some sort to improve your camera skills, then you can tell Alfred what an f stop is lol skill share or good old UA-cam will have something to help you out 😊. When you are out and about with your friend please film some of it it would be interesting to see the local area around you 😊👍 best wishes and thank you for sharing 😊
I don't remember the name of the channel but!...they give a tip with apple vinager, and it say that it was like stronger if you use the bone of the red apple, like where the sems are, hope that helps you

Hello! So nice to see you again and catch up! I want to let you know about a way to keep birds of prey away from your chickens. I have had chickens for years and just learned that the hawks here (USA - Kansas) are afraid of crows and owls. Amazon has crow and owl decoys that you can put in the chicken yard and the hawks won't bother them. Also, they don't seem to go after black chickens. I hope this helps. Please teach us some words in czech. I love your videos and look forward to the next one.

If you line your raised garden beds like I have, in mine. with unneeded paper, broken down cardboard boxes or old news paper ,magazines etc. Before putting down the compost or top soil layer, you will never have to pick another weed again.
Most Apple trees are grafted onto another rooted tree (for reasons that are beyond me). This can be why that one tree has two different types of apples growing from one tree. The root base will develop its own branches as well as the part that was grafted onto the tree. Most of the time, the fruit from the root base isn't as good.

I don't remember the name of the channel but!...they give a tip with apple vinager, and it say that it was like stronger if you use the bone of the red apple, like where the sems are, hope that helps you
