  • Video production is hard, so I used the latest AI technology to write, narrate, and edit videos in my own style. Everybody is suddenly worried Artificial General Intelligence or AGI will replace humans in the near future, so let's take a look at popular projects like BabyAGI, AutoGPT, and Jarvis.

I think using Auto GPT + ElevenLabs you could improve upon this.
    1. Train it to know your video writing style. Basically, the way a youtuber talks to both entertain and educate at the same time.
    2. Give it a lot of different samples of audio with you speaking with different emotions and put them in folders.
    3. Create a system that makes it so when you surround words and phrases in certain symbols in the script, it will know to switch to a different tone of voice so that the words don't sound so flat.
    4. Make it understand where to actually put the different sounds so you don't suddenly sound angry or sad in places where it makes no sense, or happy and laughing when it's inappropriate to do so. You can do this by giving it a list of topics and explain how they make you feel. This way, when it goes to research about the topics to make the videos, it can understand that when "you" are discussing certain topics, the way you will speak will change. This way, when reviewing what it outputs, you can look at certain parts of the video and say "actually, this topic makes me sad." or "I would actually be noticeably angry and sound frustrated talking about this part." Or, you could just go where you told it to output the script and put the corresponding symbols around that part. You could do it sorta like html. For instance, italics is insert words here . You could use emojis, regular symbols, or anything you like (that doesn't correspond to html so you don't confuse the bot). I recommend having levels of different emotions, otherwise, it won't blend together. So instead of just suddenly being filled with white hot rage, you could go into it a little frustrated, noticeably irate, definitely angry, and about to spill blood.
    5. There is AI generated music that sounds pretty good now and is free to use so long as you're not selling it. You can find whichever one you like best, and tell it to go generate and download some music for you and you can listen to what you want to keep and also hold onto each prompt it used for the ones that were good for future auto music generation.
    6. I bet we could teach it how to use Stable Diffusion like an expert and get it to generate some sick visuals if needed too.
If you can't tell, I have also been thinking of how to accomplish this.

@@adambickford8720 Repeating truth in the face of ignorance is the only thing you can do, when ignorance repeats itself back to the plain and obvious truth. Its a little known condition, similar to color blindness, it does not actually destroy one's ability to hear, in the same way color blind people can see, yet their ability to see is drastically less vivid then that of people with a full range of humanly accessibly colors. Tone deafness is a real condition, many have no clue they have as it does not effect their everyday ability to hear words and engage with society, but it does make every tone, and otherwise subtle intonations and cadence, (things AI cannot reproduce currently), completely unnoticable. To a tone deaf person, this man's AI voice and his regular voice DO sound the same, but to a regular healthy human being, the obvious differeneces between them are SOO massively jarring they couldn't tolerate the AI voice. Tone deafness, was not me saying something rude to this person, as a slight passing agro wiitty comeback, it was me genuinely telling them, they need to look into a possibly undiagnoised condition they are likely suffering from. As anyone who says that the AI could replace this man, has no ability to hear tones, and clearly doesn't enjoy them. Which is my whole point. Tone deafness lessens a lot of joys of life, from music, to simply things like listening to this mans subtle idosyncratic intonations that distiguish him from an absolute averaged AI clone, but tone deaf people don't realize they are missing out, not that their is a cure, just a ...knowledge for the sake of knowing truth...rather then living one's life assuming their are "listening to the full rainbow" when really they aren't and never have been.

I think the lawyers are going to save us. If anything the AI companies biggest mistake was trying to replace the judges and lawyers with AI. There is one thing technological disruption can't ever beat and its regulation their greatest nemisis just look at SVB they successfully lobbied to remove the regulation that prevented their collapse and promptly imploded. Try asking a judge to allow an AI to replace a lawyer (judges are typically mostly lawyers) and guess how far that is going to get. Also all the frankly extremely overmarketed AIs will replace people is going to make the government falsely think AIs will tank the job market in 2-3 years which is exactly the election cycle they do not want to disrupt which isn't going to be good for anything goes AI.
I think AI and ML algorithms can be extremely useful but proper licensing, copyright/left, attributation, transparency regulations would make it easier to identify AI content, source AI content, and improve on AI content instead of having a wild wild west where in 2-3 years GPT8 will be run entirely by 3$/hr 3rd world country employees trying to filter out all the garbage polluting the internet and generate clean data to train another closed source non-transparent fully for profit AI model.

The question here is where the development is happening. Cause this is a dev combining the tools he has available, it's not AI advancing.
I mean nobody really knows how quickly things will go, but there are a lot of people who expect a plateau at some point. And what that plateau is hit, it might take years to overcome the next bis obstacle. Or it will be no obstacle at all.
At this point we just can't be certain. But while being worried is probably a good idea, I think we should also be careful to not overhype AI and feel more miserable than necessary.
