The plot twist is the entire video was made by an AI but the AI section they make look “simpler” so we don’t get scared
hmm
Double twist, he has been using ai to put comments under his videos joking about him using ai to make his videos
i am 100% sure that all video in the past month in his channel is made a AI
trust whom or what ? Believe in the AI God. Welcome to the Truth Religion !
The plot twist is that the comment section is full of plot twist comments when actually there are no plot twist and everything is pretty straightforward
I miss 2 years ago when everyone thought that AI would never replace humanity
4 months ago actually
idk, when things scale extremely fast they also tend to downscale extremely fast
I don't miss 2 years ago.... for other reasons. Let's say 4 years ago.
@anon that's not how innovations work nuclear weapons didn't down scale, it just progressed slower and slower

Matter of the fact is 'Fireship' is on vacation and he has setup an AI to produce videos about AI frequently. There is a Fireship AI model that watched all Fireship UA-cam videos and leaned his speech, style, voice and Meme selection. No body knows where real 'Fireship' guy is now.
His name is (Channing Tatum accent) Jeeffff
I believe he’s on holiday in Barbados
He is on a island with tupac and michael

@@xpkareem LOL so true
This has been foretold for over a decade, Google "Dead Internet theory".
I can already see companies onboarding employees with IA generated video content so that nobody has to actually bother talking to them.

fireship recently has turned into a drama/comed/action series more than an educational channel, and I love it :D
I like how at the end, we think about the beginning. Just like Jeff intends to end his UA-cam career by going back to creating the same Angular content he started this channel with. Truly poetic!
Sometimes you release an absolute banger of a video that I want to share with someone, except I don’t have any friends that care about code, so I send them to my clients who also don’t care about code.. (which is why they hired me) and so I’ve thought about coding out a little social media site where only gpt generated clone bots based on schemas I’ve created around my personal interests interact with me and suggest old classic Fireship videos from years past. Amen.
Someone add this guy to a group chat so he can get his fix.
See, that's why I'm not too worried about this AI thing. It won't invalid the 80-20 Pareto law, as in most people simply don't give a shit about code or creating stuff in general.
That's called a TavernAI groupchat with a GPT3.5 key, and it already exists
this is amazing, thank you for a way to make myself no longer forever alone
I think you need an AI to appreciate you as you are.
In all honesty, at this point your voice and tonality is so consistent in your videos that I'm sure you could use an AI to replicate it in this style.
fun thing is I had an fun idea of a video memezation tool to make videos like yours but forgot to write that idea down at some point and was wandering around all day trying to recall the idea. Then went to UA-cam, started to watch this video, suddenly recalled it and was happy for that fact for several seconds before understanding the video was just about implementing that idea by you yourself. The progress pace is too fast at this point to even have the time to write down ideas lol
eventually, Fireship will post a "X in 100 seconds" video where at the very end he admits it's entirely generated by AI.
but we're clearly not there yet.
“Clearly not there yet” I’ll comeback to this comment in a few months when the tech will be available. Good luck

Im currently letting my AutoGPT do its default thing and seeing how far it will go. Latest version from a few hours ago is quite stable. It definitely needs some fine tuned parameters. And tweak behaviour so that AutoGPT formats its prompts to ChatGPT differently. For Example AutoGPT should scrape info for ChatGPT since it cant access the web.
Dude Jeff! Don't play with my heart with that last bit of making Angular content! I am really looking forward to it!!! 😅
Love the Angular reference! That’s how I originally discovered this channel, back when I was only working in Angular 2 for a former job.
So excited for the new Angular content :D
This is gonna take those automated youtube channels to a whole new level one day
glad to hear that Fireship going back to continue with Angular content
I remember a few years ago CaryKh did something similar to this where code that he wrote animated a video with just a pre-recorded voice-over. Amazing how far we have come in just a few short years!
As a video editor, I am impressed that an AI could actually put together the visuals, VO etc but the final output is creatively dead and it's understood since it picked whatever it could find and tried to fit in those elements.
Yes but it's only the begining. That would evolve and propose better creative visuals like Midjourney or video prompt AI.
Imagine if we just could ask the ai to make a better Star wars movie series based on the over 200 books which agree with the Lucas arts story instead of the woke directors scrips....
YESSSSS NEW ANGULAR CONTENT 👏👏👏can't wait 😉
btw - I was pretty surprised because I didn't think that the one

finally...i've been stuck on my angular project for 2 years waiting for you to release some new content
So engaging and hilarious I forgot to Like and had to go back and Like. You ROCK!!! 🔥🏆
This never felt like fireship, the ai part, fireship usually adds more emotions, memes and pauses in between and transitions from the code to the memes very smoothly without making us realise and his script is more of in a paragraph written text rather than point wise as generated by ai
You know how GitHub issues are basically tasks? I wonder if you can train an auto-GPT to generate GitHub issues and to generate patches as the "completion" for these tasks
I love your jokes in each video, no AI can replace you on that!

Eleven Labs + GPT-4 is really a game changer.
Thanks a lot for such an amazing content!! 🎉❤
Sincerely thank you for more Angular content. Our company insists on using it since version 2!!!!
I got a fireship add in a fireship video, damn this man know what he is doing
I love how this channel has rapidly devolved into an AI fever dream. Keep up the great work.
I think using Auto GPT + ElevenLabs you could improve upon this.
1. Train it to know your video writing style. Basically, the way a youtuber talks to both entertain and educate at the same time.
2. Give it a lot of different samples of audio with you speaking with different emotions and put them in folders.
3. Create a system that makes it so when you surround words and phrases in certain symbols in the script, it will know to switch to a different tone of voice so that the words don't sound so flat.
4. Make it understand where to actually put the different sounds so you don't suddenly sound angry or sad in places where it makes no sense, or happy and laughing when it's inappropriate to do so. You can do this by giving it a list of topics and explain how they make you feel. This way, when it goes to research about the topics to make the videos, it can understand that when "you" are discussing certain topics, the way you will speak will change. This way, when reviewing what it outputs, you can look at certain parts of the video and say "actually, this topic makes me sad." or "I would actually be noticeably angry and sound frustrated talking about this part." Or, you could just go where you told it to output the script and put the corresponding symbols around that part. You could do it sorta like html. For instance, italics is insert words here . You could use emojis, regular symbols, or anything you like (that doesn't correspond to html so you don't confuse the bot). I recommend having levels of different emotions, otherwise, it won't blend together. So instead of just suddenly being filled with white hot rage, you could go into it a little frustrated, noticeably irate, definitely angry, and about to spill blood.
5. There is AI generated music that sounds pretty good now and is free to use so long as you're not selling it. You can find whichever one you like best, and tell it to go generate and download some music for you and you can listen to what you want to keep and also hold onto each prompt it used for the ones that were good for future auto music generation.
6. I bet we could teach it how to use Stable Diffusion like an expert and get it to generate some sick visuals if needed too.
If you can't tell, I have also been thinking of how to accomplish this.
or he could just make a video himself instead of going through all that trouble?
you can mod this for playing RPG with chat gpt.
You just prompt chat gpt to create a RPG game campaign, it narrates, you choose the actions, and then the ai generates sequences of the narrated images and audio, even subtitles, in a long video.
There's already a few AI games. It's quite wobbly and doesn't make much sense, but an interesting experiment.
Nice, looking forward to the Angular content.
Could it be that AI has been producing all recent videos and Jeff is actually in full vacations? 🤣
Or maybe, Jeff was actually just reading it all off himself, but bc of his super monotone abilities he knew we wouldn't be able to tell :D
What if... there is no Jeff, and never was? It was an AI all along right from the start
You might get a strike for 0:48 😅
Lyrebird was the program out about 4-5 years ago that was phenomenal at voice automation. i believe it was bought up and turned into what we all use today

I tried to implement a similar idea before, but I ran into the problem of selecting sources in the form of pictures and videos and simulating voice

@@honaleri Nah Fireship's voice is pretty dry and is easily replaceable by aI voice.
@@AidamanTV2 You should look into tone deafness too.
@@honaleri Repeating the same wrong thing is rarely convincing.
@@adambickford8720 Repeating truth in the face of ignorance is the only thing you can do, when ignorance repeats itself back to the plain and obvious truth. Its a little known condition, similar to color blindness, it does not actually destroy one's ability to hear, in the same way color blind people can see, yet their ability to see is drastically less vivid then that of people with a full range of humanly accessibly colors. Tone deafness is a real condition, many have no clue they have as it does not effect their everyday ability to hear words and engage with society, but it does make every tone, and otherwise subtle intonations and cadence, (things AI cannot reproduce currently), completely unnoticable. To a tone deaf person, this man's AI voice and his regular voice DO sound the same, but to a regular healthy human being, the obvious differeneces between them are SOO massively jarring they couldn't tolerate the AI voice. Tone deafness, was not me saying something rude to this person, as a slight passing agro wiitty comeback, it was me genuinely telling them, they need to look into a possibly undiagnoised condition they are likely suffering from. As anyone who says that the AI could replace this man, has no ability to hear tones, and clearly doesn't enjoy them. Which is my whole point. Tone deafness lessens a lot of joys of life, from music, to simply things like listening to this mans subtle idosyncratic intonations that distiguish him from an absolute averaged AI clone, but tone deaf people don't realize they are missing out, not that their is a cure, just a ...knowledge for the sake of knowing truth...rather then living one's life assuming their are "listening to the full rainbow" when really they aren't and never have been.
Re: Eleven labs, I read that it's sometimes better to have very short recordings rather than very long ones. More data does not necessarily improve the quality in this case.
I have a similar script using JavaScript. Wasn't planning on telling anyone but I didn't know about the voice thing. Adding that today! Thanks
Initially after launch of ChatGPT I thought it would take 5-7 years before AI would replace humans but with progress that is happening everyday I seriously think AI is going to replace a lot of humans in 2-3 years.
I think we got till Christmas before we’re made redundant. I’ve already started looking up homesteading land for sale
I think the lawyers are going to save us. If anything the AI companies biggest mistake was trying to replace the judges and lawyers with AI. There is one thing technological disruption can't ever beat and its regulation their greatest nemisis just look at SVB they successfully lobbied to remove the regulation that prevented their collapse and promptly imploded. Try asking a judge to allow an AI to replace a lawyer (judges are typically mostly lawyers) and guess how far that is going to get. Also all the frankly extremely overmarketed AIs will replace people is going to make the government falsely think AIs will tank the job market in 2-3 years which is exactly the election cycle they do not want to disrupt which isn't going to be good for anything goes AI.
I think AI and ML algorithms can be extremely useful but proper licensing, copyright/left, attributation, transparency regulations would make it easier to identify AI content, source AI content, and improve on AI content instead of having a wild wild west where in 2-3 years GPT8 will be run entirely by 3$/hr 3rd world country employees trying to filter out all the garbage polluting the internet and generate clean data to train another closed source non-transparent fully for profit AI model.

The question here is where the development is happening. Cause this is a dev combining the tools he has available, it's not AI advancing.
I mean nobody really knows how quickly things will go, but there are a lot of people who expect a plateau at some point. And what that plateau is hit, it might take years to overcome the next bis obstacle. Or it will be no obstacle at all.
At this point we just can't be certain. But while being worried is probably a good idea, I think we should also be careful to not overhype AI and feel more miserable than necessary.
