This actually does have variable speeds, but I can definitely see why that is missed. Once the lock is released, you don’t have to continue holding it down. The activating button pushes down in increments. If you just hold it all the way down, you are blending at the highest speed. It is very subtle.
@@maryheatonwhatsnext3610 The release button pushes in and pops out. It's still stuck. It seems like one part is still latched. I called the # in the book pg. 31 in my book. The guy had me put the whole thing in the freezer (Lucky me I had just emptied and cleaned the freezer and turned it back on.) It didn't work though, I'll try again tomorrow. The cold shrinks the metal. He thought maybe it overheated. I'll call again if needed. PS the SERIAL # is on the tine of the plug.
Thanks for this demonstration! I have a countertop food processor at my home, but I got this for the apartment I am living in while working a contract in another city. Very flexible tool. And I LOVE the dog! (Makes me miss my boy back in Baltimore.) I got it for $29.99 at Costco, too--great deal.
TYVM I just purchased this @ Costco for $29.99. After watching your demo it has given me insight into the functions. Happy Cooking & again thank you. :)
My mom just got this for Xmas and i was figuring it out.... 8:10 I'd like to point out this DOES have multiple speeds, it depends on how far in you press the trigger button to use it. Look at the lights on top...... LOL and as i'm typing this you said that at the end haha Thanks for the vid. If i hadnt' watched this i would've thrown out the plastic pole the shredder/slicer disc goes on..... it was hiding in the cardboard. >.>
Use an appropriate bowl with the whisk and it works great! The beaker isn't good for everything. This has a variable speed based upon how much you press on the power button. This is a great every day tool!
If they had a guard for the beaker that slid over the whisk and grinder before attaching to base the beaker would be much better. The shape and size of the beaker is less than ideal but limited by height of shaft.
Since the motor is separate from the food processor, I felt pretty confident and rinsing it off to wash it. I know that sometimes food will stick in it, so I really just used a soft wet cloth.
I just bought this and I’m wondering how do you wash the blade? Seems a bit scary. Do you just rinse it off? I wouldn’t think it would be cleaned thoroughly that way.
PLEASE!!, I just bought it after seeing your video but I cannot open get the lid off the blender, and the instructions don't say how to do it! please tell me!
I have mine in my camper so I can’t go back to see it. If I remember correctly though check if there’s an alignment towards the top for it to come off or it should be able to just pop off unless the model has changed it shouldn’t be that difficult. I hope this works for you. Let me know how it works
Did you ever read the operations? You don't need to keep holding the unlock button continuously. Once it gets going you have to release the unlock button; but continue depressing the operation button. Does it make any sense to keep holding both buttons at once? That would be archaic! Re-read the instructions again!
@@maryheatonwhatsnext3610 how can you use the food processor if you do not take the cover off? I just bought one from Costco, I have the hardest time taking the top off. I am afraid to break the plastic processor bowl.
@@ChristinaD.DantesChris This was my question also. But we finally got it to work.....pressing down a bit and turning counterclockwise. It took multiple tries. Frustrating. There was some pressure from the blade inside, and I think that's what was making it difficult at first. Keep trying. HOpe this helps.
I purchased mine at Costco also 1 year ago I was using the food prosier to shred a block of cheater cheese I cut in #3 pieces one at a time the unit stopped working wand got very hot waited for it to cool off but never worked again I had to follow return and cut the cord in half and take photo and sent to CS.
One of the best things about purchasing items at Costco is they have an unconditional return policy. If Cuisinart had not honored the warranty, you could’ve returned it to Costco for a full refund. If you don’t have the receipt, they could actually look it up from your card.
I washed it and now it has liquid inside, since the motor is separate, do you think It will be fine and can I used it? It should I wait until it gets dry?
great demo and your dog is precious!

Your comment is extremely helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to post and helping out other people as well. God bless you.
I put the blade attachment on it clicked etc. Now it won't come off?
@annettegentz2121 I don’t have mine with me potentially in Florida my camper. I think there was a release button for it though.

I really wish this was cordless but for the price of $29.99 from Costco on sale it’s a great deal
Thanks for showing how to assemble the blades. Nothing like slicing your fingers on thanksgiving morning. Wish I had found your post earlier.
Oh so sorry!

Sad to say I had to return it. The wand was too big for my hand and I wasn’t able to do any functions.
I was about to return this blender but watching your video and your recommendation I’m going to keep it. Thanks!

Really glad I watched your vid, I would have thrown out the grader/slicer blade for the processor attachment. Thanks!

Will immersion part blend icecubes or frozen fruit into a smoothie?

How do you open the food processor? I tried twisting the top part while holding and it doesn’t turn.
Nice video 😊
Hi! Do you have any tips for cleaning the food processor top?

It’s stainless steel you can put it in the dishwasher and the little silverware carrier so it doesn’t bounce around

How do you detach the top of chopper unit to change blades?
It has two holes inn the circular blade/chopper piece to put your fingers in to remove it.
6:32 p.m., Thursday, 24 October 2024-did you find it challenging to take the cover off the food processor? I was afraid if forcing it off.

I don’t take the cover off the processor base. I just wipe the outside

Miss, you are wrong, is variable speed, not just one speed! Regards
I did add a comment at the end of the video that it did have a variable speed. Unfortunately, because it’s at the very end it often gets missed
I don’t like the safety button.
Well, sadly, mine broke down after just a few months. The good thing is Costco immediately took it back so I could exchange it for a new one.
I splashed everywhere I may return it...
You do need a high wall pan if you’re using that. If you’re not happy with it, you should absolutely return it.
