Mee too. But that and the Goblet of Fire not only will be huge (that we'll need a trunk to carry it), but I can't wait to see the foldout illustrations for the Quiddich World Cup, the Hungarian Horntail, Voldemort's return, the Department of Mysteries, etc.
@@dannyjorde2677 I know. I meant that in the Order of the Phoenix I am anticipating art relating to the Department of Mysteries, as well as the Black family tapestry.
I'm 23 and am determined to buy all of these because I absolutely want to share this reading experience with my future kids! The Harry Potter series will be their first book series and these editions are beautiful and magical!
Doing this right now and let me tell you it's the next best thing to experiencing it the 1st time yourself. Heard her say that's not in the book! For the 1st time and I've never been more proud
My son got sorcerer stone for a gift in march for his birthday, he fell in love! It's way more fun for a kid to get into than the original books. I hope they do the whole series so that he can have the completeset!!
Oh my, as an adult I am thrilled, I cannot imagine how happy I would be as a kid. A wonderful book full of magic. If they gonna continue, starting from book 4 is gonna be challenging. Or it might be just less illustrative.
Minalima literally outdid themselves in these illustrated editions. It's worth every penny. I was squealing non-stop when I got my Philosopher's Stone edition.
I love how the illustrations aren’t depicted right from the movies, they’re a whole other shape and form!! Love the book, going to ask for it for Christmas!🔥
I just started reading the first Harry Potter Illustrated edition to my kids. They love the photos and interactive parts. My 14yo has read the books before, but for the other two it's the first time hearing the stories. We read a chapter every night. Then my 4yo and I end the night with a "Peter Potter" video.
its literally SO beautiful. If they end up making the whole series I couldn't imagine how big they'd be! I watched your interviews with them and if this took about a year, I'm very happy to wait a few years in between for the longer books!
They will probably have to split it in like 3 different books due to size. Order of the phoenix is massive on its own, with all the illustrations it will be three times bigger
I am a newbie Potterhead. I’m 30 now and this is the first time that I’ve read the whole series (I’m down to the last book). I agree when you said that if you are a new fan of the series, getting the Minalima illustrated series does help in your over all reading experience and with that said I just ordered my first Minalima book (the sorcerers stone) last month and I can’t wait to get my hand off to this new book once it becomes readily available here in the Philippines. PS, I really love your videos especially these flip throughs. All the best to you and all the potter collectors out there.
I think what I love most about this series, is that we have all seen the MinaLima designs for The Wizarding World, but with these books, they’ve given us a completely new vision.
I hope they keep doing every book. I still have my original books from when I was a kid. Now my 7 year old daughter has shown interest in Harry Potter and she’s excited to have a mix of art and interactive with the book. We love these
I literally cannot begin to describe how much I loved this illustrated version. I mean so much hardwork and thinking about the smallest of the details like the engraving of Ron's name on the wand by scrathing out Charlie's name, it show how much passion the MinaLima team has towards Harry Potter. Once a Potterhead always a Potterhead. I am so happy to see these illustrated books and hope to have them in my collection soon.
It's wonderful. It reminds me of my old children's books. It is a pity that we had to wait so many years for books to be published with such beautiful illustrations. I would like to see such publications from the very beginning. My favorite interactive illustrations are Lockhart's portraits and The Burrow.
I love how each page have those corner designs that kind of frame the book. It's like a little nod to the American version of the books with the 3 stars on each page. There seems to be less interactive pages in this book but more illustrations so that's cool. I can't wait to receive my copy. Thank you for the flip-through, Peter!
Thank you for the interview and for the review of the book. The book is simple a masterpiece. I hope Mina Lima continues this series. I can't wait for the Half-Blood Prince. I loved the interactive pages, my fav. Dumbledore's entrance. Impressive!
that's so cool, I really enjoy the style, especially when it comes to interior designs, illustations like Ron's room, Dumbledore's office , Herbology greenhouse, library and so on. can;t wait for the 3rd book, as i really want to see the their designs for Sirius and Remus, who are my favorite characters after Hermione.
The book is so magical! I would love it if you could read all of the books on CD. Seriously! You could easily do all the voices and it would be a great gift for your nephew! ♥️🤓 I'd buy them! Especially if they were spaced out over a few months each.
I absolutely love the mina lima second edition of Harry Potter. The interactive pages are very well done and the colour is beautiful. My favourite interactive parts of the book were definetely the gargoyle staircase as well as the inside of the burrow. The best illustration was the aragog scene with the anglier.
Just gifted the first three books to my niece for her 11th birthday. Along with a custom made Hogwarts letter. Never been a happier child in the world than her!
I REALLY hope they continue the series!! I want it so bad, because I have the 1st one, but my family needs ideas on what to get me for Christmas, so I’ll have to wait to get it to make sure no one gets that for me. Ugh the wait!!!
I'm torn between waiting for my own copy to arrive and watching Your new video 😂 This edition of philosopher's stone was actually the first piece of my very own Harry Potter colection and guess it couldn't have been a better Christmas gift from my brother 😅 Wish you a great week and: Keep collecting ^^
I can’t wait to get my hands on this! It’s number one on my Christmas wish list! Thank you so much for the flip through! It’s definitely amped up my excitement for it!
The art style is very much a childrens imaginary aesthetic! Every illustrated piece awakens a time of my childhood with eyes of fantasy creativity and imaginary. Truly a beautiful representation of the books. I also want to point out how imperfect the human designs are, each having different facial traits.
I got my copy on Saturday as I preordered the signed copy directly from MinaLima and I am in the UK. I spent the whole of Saturday morning looking at all the illustrations and this week I am going to read it. I was worried as mine is a little damaged at the corner but your version is worse than mine so I guess it’s a design fault due to all the interactive pictures making it very thick. I am in awe and can’t wait for the all the other books to be released. I know I have a long wait 😳💙🦅💙🦅
I bought the first book just 2 weeks ago, thanks to a video you did about the books. I am so happy you showed it. It is such a pleasure to read and enjoy the illustrations I want to but a book stand to display the interactive pages
Love the video. As a fellow Potter fan, can I add a correction that Hermione wrestled Millicent Bulstrode and not Pansy Parkinson (hence how she got the cat hair). (comment added halfway through video, please be gentle)
Happy Halloween to you! This book still makes me laugh! What a treat twenty years after the films! You've been deafened by the mandrake! Awe the griffin! I am so excited!
My copy is on its way! Can’t wait to see it in person! We are headed to London for Christmas so we plan a trip to the Mina Lima store and will get my granddaughter both books! Thank you for the preview! BTW… who won the wand?
I love Chamber of Secrets! my fav book for sure, and for a long time the movie as well but now The Prisioner of Azkaban is on top, and i love the ilustrations! i wish they had made interactive the entrace to the chamber of secrets and some other moments that could have been interactive or ilustrated as well, but it does not disappoint! Great work from MinaLima
Beautiful as always. I would say it is better that the first. If they keep going, the books will only get better. There style fits wonderfully with the story.
Thank you for the video! Didn’t even know the second one was coming out this year. Just picked it up at Barnes & Noble who just unpacked it! Heading to HP NY in a couple weeks and was also very appreciative of all the vids you did there too! Hoping to get onto both VR experiences.

You know, I just saw the video where you roamed Illinois in your Dumbledore costume and gave away Mystery Wands and when you pointed out the version of Dumbledore I nearly got a heartattack, because he looks JUST LIKE YOU in your Dumbledore outfit!😱🤗
I pre-ordered mines and it will be here next week can’t wait and I’m getting the first one from the New York Harry Potter store this weekend so exciting!!!!!!
I know you don't like the spider pages, and personally I don't enjoy spiders that much either, but honestly....very appropriate for that chapter, absolutely loved it 🥰🕷🕸 all of it is super creative as a whole....can't wait to get my hands on it 🤗
Thanks for showing this - the spiders are a bit much for me, but otherwise a beautiful book. I love the picture of Lockhart trying to escape clutching his equally-distraught-looking bath time painting, haha! 😂
I like this one much better than the first one. I didn't buy Sorcerer's Stone because aside from that huge Diagon Alley spread (which seemed a little intrusive to trying to read the book) I really didn't think it popped that much, but this one I find incredible. I will now end up getting #1 since I want #2. lol And the art doesn't seem cumbersome to trying to read the book like that Diagon Alley art in #1.
Wow. After seeing this I think I'll order these books. They look fantastic even though I already have all the available large Harry Potter books illustrated by Jim kay which I love.
I have this book and I love it, great addition to my HP Colletion... It was fun watching you film this book, BTW the spiders freak me out too and turning the pages I was trying to no touch them! LOL

The Kay books managed the bigger ones really well. So MinaLima will too!
