Mariah can literally do everything. Write and sing umpteen original songs while recording some of the best covers and singing the most beautiful duets (with Whitney, Luther, Brian McKnight etc) ever. Absolute legend.
Mariah has my favourite voice over the last 30 years. Her backup singer - Trey Lorenz - has been touring with her until this day and he has released some solo music on the side over the years. Very talented singer!
Trey Lorenz is still her background singer to this day. He had an album in I think 92 or 93 where mariah sings background, arranged and wrote on. He sang the hook on Da Brat's "Give it to You". Also he sung lead in "Make You Happy" from the Men in Black soundtrack on which Mariah sings background on that. She actually co-wrote it too. Also check out his song Pisces on which Mariah sings background also
