    Amazing, Fantastic. You have exposed the dark secrets and conspiracies of the fuel makers and engine makers to keep us model engine enthusiasts believing that ONLY methanol and glow plugs can coincide. This has been a real eye opening test and a great service to us model engine lovers! 👍

      Thank you very much for your nice comment ! Doing my best. B.t.w., this test was provided, as well due to your questions and comments, so thank you once more !

    I think more methanol will improve glow plug performance and help to cool the engine. It would be interesting to mix methanol and gasoline with and without nitro to compare performance against gasoline alone with spark ignition.

    hello, very informative test, can you tell more about the conditions of the glow plugs after running with gasoline? any damage of the filament? thanks.

      Thank you for your question ! I should say, that there was no changes of filament was found under the magnifying glass. Only the color of the basement was changed, it becomes darker, due to increased amount of soot deposition, but this is normal story with gas powered engines. Spark plug also has darkened and central electrode was slightly covered by soot deposit.

    Sim, Sim , eu já fiz esse teste com nitro tempos passado ,o resultado é considerável , agora existe uma pequena diferença de temperatura perto de 10 graus C, encima do cabeçote.

      Obrigado pelo comentário, é muito interessante!
      O que você acha, qual é o limite da influência do NITRO na operação do motor? Quanto NITRO dá o efeito máximo na operação de um motor a gasolina?
      Obrigado !

      @wagnerfratelli3500 Рік тому +1

      @@crazyengines88 Sem dúvida o nitro melhora o máximo na operação em rpm , e também , estabiliza na marcha lenta chegando próximo 900 rpm, mas também pode se notar uma pequena elevação de temperatura no cilindro em alta rpm.

      @@wagnerfratelli3500 Obrigado, muito interessante! Não medi a temperatura do cilindro neste teste, de tanto trabalho com isso. Mesmo assim, foi interessante medir e comparar a diferença sem NITRO e com ele

      @@crazyengines88 No Tempo passado acionei Gas Engine Moki 5 cil 4 tempos, cheguei próximo a 650 rpm, na marcha lenta, recomendo não ultrapassar 7% de Nitro, pode causar efeito contrária no desempenho, e inclusive postei aqui no youtube, mas sem medir nada apenas, postei naquela época, deixei passar muitas coisas na vida.

    How you mix nitro methane with gasoline. Im told they will separate. I know it will mix well with methanol. Where you able to just add nitro straight ti gasoline?

    • @crazyengines88
      @crazyengines88  Рік тому +1

      Thank you very much for your question and comment ! Definitely, nitromethane could be very easy dissolved in gasoline, up to 30% of the volume could be mixed without any problems. Anything over 30% is too much, and a separation could start, mix becomes blurry. So, 30% is a top limit. And yes, I'm directly adding nitromethane into gasoline, than adding oil and shaking well.
      Thank you and have a nice day !

    Any difference between 10% and 15% nitro mix on gasoline fuel?

    • @crazyengines88
      @crazyengines88  Рік тому

      Thank you very much for your comment ! I don't know an exact answer, yet. I can only judge based on the figures obtained:
      1. Standard gasoline fuel mix with 10% NITRO on spark ignition gives 8,4K RPM TOP speed.
      2. Special gasoline mix with 15% NITRO and with +10% Methanol gives 8,5K RPM TOP speed.
      I'm sure in precision of this figures. 100RPM increase is so small, rom one side. From another side, its really stabilize idling and reduce it from 1.1 RPM to 1,05K RPM. Is is sufficient - 50 RPM decrease ? It's positive, for sure.

      @@crazyengines88 Gasoline and nitro are good friends, more nitro please, I think 10% metanol on special mix fuel not improve engine perfomance.

    • @crazyengines88
      @crazyengines88  Рік тому +1

      @@alexyanguas2950 The reason for adding methanol into this fuel mix is to provide more catalytic effect to the glow plug heating platinum element. Do you think, that even more, that 15%, for example +25% Nitro content will change engine's performant accordingly ?

    • @alexyanguas2950
      @alexyanguas2950 Рік тому +1

      @@alexyanguas2950 Thank you, interesting opinion, I'll think, how to arrange this kind of test. There is also another opinion existing, that increased methanol content in the fuel will helps to run engine a bit cooler. I'll think about possible screenplay.
