Vielen Dank! I’ve been learning German for about two months now, and your videos have helped me a heck of a lot. As I’m an American, Herr Antrims videos have helped me far more than those of Native German speakers who sometimes take for granted their grammatical foreknowledge. As of now, I can say there are four things which have helped me more than anything with my German:
1. Learning Latin. It is a very good base for many languages, and due to the distinct and clear nature of it’s case system, it’s a very simple way to get a great comprehension of the case system.
2. Reading Shakespeare and other Early Modern English. Like Latin has helped clarify the case system for me, Early Modern English has shown me similarities in word order, pronoun differences, and just serves as a kind of bridge between the English I speak and the German tongue.
3. Reading simple stories. This has boosted my vocabulary and comprehension, as well as giving me confidence.
4. Herr Antrims Videos! Whenever I have a problem understanding a grammar issue, or the difference between certain words, Herr Antrim has the answer 98 percent of the time.

Alles is basically just like ''das'', when ''das'' is translated into ''that'' in english, alles is ''all of that'' and it has declinations according to the cases of neuter noun
