I am so damn proud that this generation has a better lift off than the gay community I grew up in. I miss my friends that are no longer here and I appreciate the changes that have been acknowledged in this century....THanks Butch for your journey which is reflective of The Journey we all envelope
They really are cool like that...my 14 year old daughter shows me how cool these kids are about LGBTQ --THEY ARE OKAY WITH GAY!!, Hay thats a cool hashtag #OkayWithGay
Summer Breeze I am not gay, however I do have friends and relatives that are. I do not decide what is good or not acceptable for society. I do love my friends and family no matter what their sexual orientation. If you have a problem with it. Why watch the video
Summer Breeze If in fact you believe this about me then so be it. I am not here to argue any further why are you even watching the video if you find it unacceptable?Let's Agree to Disagree PERIOD
It is fantastic that Tyler's Dad has so much empathy for his Son. It would be great if all LGBTQIA people could talk about their experiences with their families, and get that response to what can be a very trying journey.
Woohoo to all of these beautiful people for sharing their stories, and families for being supportive. This video is so sweet, and as a fellow LGBTQ person, having content like this online is so awesome.
I was crying practically the whole way through. These parents are so beautiful, and their children. Amazing to see such pure love and the progress we are slowly making.
Endearing and uplifting. But we need to see and hear the stories of 'failed' coming outs as well. As a well meaning straight ally outside of the community, it is easy to look at our culture now and think that things are just fine for LGBT people. But it does not "get better" evenly across the board. I am a millennial from a middle-class background and I came out with witnesses present to avoid violence.
I’m not crying you are😭😭😭😭!!!!! Lol No but forreal I love this video. I love seeing these accepting families. Even though a lot of our LGBTQ brothers and sisters have family horror stories. It’s nice to show the other side of the narrative sometimes😊
Heyyyyy, I kind of grew up with Butch also, we use to all hang out in Central Park at the Fountain/Bandshell...he is a little older but I known Butch since 1974. He is a great man, and His kid is awesome, remember when Tyler was born. Thats awesome...might see him in CP this Summer or Fall we usually have a reunion of sorts. I missed the last couple but look forward to seeing him this year for sure.

"Your journey is my journey, and as long I look at you and keep learning I can help others the way you help others". ❤

watching this in school was such a mistake. Now look at me, crying into my instant noodles while looking over my notes. This was so beautiful watch!
I'm sorry but "crying into my instant noodles" made me laugh 😭
