- In a surprise move, the Sultan of Brunei took over the wheel of the official vehicle and drove Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar to Seri Perdana, Putrajaya upon arriving at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) base in Subang for his special visit to Malaysia on Monday (Nov 28).
Also seated in the vehicle was the Sultan’s son, Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Mateen Bolkiah.

As a non Malaysian, would like to publicly express that PM Anwar Ibrahim is well respected and liked all over the world. Of course the world's opinion does not matter as much as that of Malaysians but still.
Don't worry, soon Malaysians will see that what people think of their leader is just as important for their own good. We simply need to learn more about the world's situation for us to get out of the current and future predicted predicament.

I'm not Malaysian but I loved Anwar Ibrahim. He was imprisoned for so many years despite being a deputy PM. When he got out of jail, he became a prime minister-in-waiting for the 2nd time but was betrayed once again. We're very glad that on his 3rd attempt, he successfully won and swore in Prime Minister. His political life is very unique.

PM7 actually had sultan brunei as his first guest in 2018 (sultan also drove himself to see PM7). the last Msian PM to be driven by sultan brunei was PM 5 -- if not mistaken, from tanjung aru to kuala trg. somebody pointed out that it was from kemaman to KT instead.

@@user-vq3yx1tr1r Oil and gas has been the backbone of Brunei's GDP. As such, Malaysia is in fact way more wealthy given that we have oil and gas in Sabah and Sarawak, and also natural resources in Peninsular Malaysia.
One would ask, "but how can Msia be more wealthy when our GDP rank is lower than that of Brunei? where did the money go if we have so many resources?". A reasonable man with a reasonable mind would know the answer, which is why I said "it is not a matter of 'Brunei should help Malaysia” but a matter of “Malaysia should help Malaysia'"

2019? Meaning the Sultan was never interested in other PM at all after Tun DM. Anyway, hopefully DSAI can make RM1=Brunei Dollar 1. For decades RM always lower than SGD/Brunei Dollar.
1RM = 1BND is a dream too far to reach lah. Brunei dollar is pegged against the Singapore dollar. Therefore Malaysia have to ultimately catch up with Singapore strong economy.
